We've stayed here several times before and enjoyed it each time. Rooms are clean. Staff are nice and efficient. Pool is decent size. View of the lake from the balcony is great. We'll stay here again.

We felt that the accomodations at the BW Dockside were fine but were plenty expensive for the room provided. We did some extra travelling in your area which necessitated us to stay an extra night before heading home. We stayed at the Clarion that night and were very pleased with the accomodations and price. We certainly hope to visit your area again in the very near future and next time we will try to stay at the Clarion. You have a beautiful area and we enjoy visiting it very much. The breakfast bar was not as described. There were very limited options and it was the same everyday. A "25 foot breakfast bar" implied a large variety of food options. The bar may have been 25 feet long but the food could have fit into a 4 foot area.

The staff there was extremely helpful answering the questions that I had. The lobby is very welcoming and clean. The room was nice, clean and had a nice view of the lake. It is also in a convenient location for the ferry and plenty of shopping within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything we were looking for. Outstanding 2 room suite that was spotless and and professionally refreshed on stay over. Housekeeper Ann Marie was thorough, courteous and pleasant. Front desk was polite and professional. Nice grounds and overall appearance. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate and the staff had fresh food continuously running out to the line. Tables and floors constantly kept clean. I will return. Many Thanks to the entire staff.

I booked this hotel for an annual girl's weekend (myself and two best friends) not really knowing what to expect. The location was perfect -within walking distance to restaurants and all the shops in Mackinaw City. The room was quite large with a balcony overlooking the lake. We had a great weekend and all agreed the accommodations could not have been more perfect. Would stay here again.

Very clean hotel with very nice dÃ©cor. The staff was very friendly, the property well kept, close to everything in town, and the breakfast was wonderful. If I had one criticism it would be that the layout is a bit confusing and we were not given a map of the property when we checked in. We had to search for the breakfast room and the exercise facilities. Overall it was a nice stay.

The room and view were beautiful! The facility was very clean and had a convenient location. The staff was overall very helpful. The breakfast was only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. No fresh fruit at all, some items (sausage and sausage gravy) were cool to cold. The hotel and breakfast room were packed but only one person working throughout our stay. I got the feeling they were cutting corners here.

The room was ready for us, and they let us check in a little earlier than what they advertise. THe breakfast was outstanding and very filling. Our needs were definately met. We walked to the downtown....great entertainment, and food. The cruise to the island was right there....no complaints about Best Western at all....

I requested a beachfront view, and it was fabulous. However with it being on the 4th floor, I had to take the elevator. I felt the elevator was a bit secluded, and it made me uncomfortable in terms of safety.
