The rooms are beautiful! The view of the lake is lovely and the breakfast buffet is delicious. We stayed in jacuzzi suite. The jacuzzi worked perfectly and the beds were very comfortable.

Best Western Plus Dockside was very nice, but the pool was closed because of remodeling. They moved us to the Hamilton Inn which was even nicer! Both hotel's personnel were very professional and made us feel at home. Thank you for a great stay in Mackinaw.

I did not stay at the Best Western. Upon my check in I asked where the workout room was and it wasn't available at the time. They so kindly sent me to the Hamilton Inn so my needs were met. As for the Hamilton Inn the service and hotel was outstanding.

My fiancee and I had planned to stay at the Best Western. However, due to remodeling, our reservation was sent to the Hamilton Inn Select down the street. The room we had over there was small but so comfortable and cozy. And from what I was told, it was a bit of an upgrade, which was nice. Everyone that I encountered in both hotels were just wonderful. I'm hoping we can make it back up in the fall to see the colors. If we do, we will stay with the either Best Western or Hamilton Inn. :)

Me and my wife have been coming to mackinaw city in october for many years to celibrate our anniversary and we always try and stay at the best western dockside the rooms are clean its not far from down town and theres a free breackfast its been great!!! although somtimes the rates have gotten so high weve stay at other motels near bye but we always like to stay at best western if we can. thanks

An 'Outstanding' rating would have required a bit more enthusiasm, cheerfulness, glad to see you kind of welcome. I must admit we came in late in the day after a long drive (from Toronto, Ontario) so we were tired too. The room, balcony/patio and such were outstanding. The folks we met in Mackinaw City were the best! I'd go back in a heartbeat.

This was the first time that we have stayed up at Mackinaw City. We went on the internet to find a place to stay. This place was rated among the best so we chose this place. The room we reserved was a two double bed with a lake balcony. The room was very clean and neat and the view was great. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best that we have ever had. From biscuits and gravy to sausage and scramble eggs, cereal, bagels, waffles and more. We would definitely come back again

We loved our room on the first floor where we could walk right out the sliding door to the beach and the water. The location was convenient to places to eat and to shop and to take the ferries. We loved being next to the state park and pier. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast was fine. Question: How do handicapped access the breakfast room?

We came to Mackinaw City for the truck show and parade. Our hotel was in just the right spot to relax after touring the show, go to dinner and step outside ans watch the parade.
