Employees were all very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was extremely clean and neat. Out room was upgraded without asking. The bed was extremely comfortable. Sheets were great, pillows were great, The bathroom was very clean, enough towels were supplied. The heat/air worked very well. The temperature in the room was perfect. I would have liked to comment on the Continental breakfast but we didnt use it.

"Outstanding" because of location and price. Located right on the water, the view from our 2nd floor balcony was awesome. Plus, the added bonus of being within walking distance of the downtown shops/restaurants/bars and the ferry docks makes the Best Western Dockside a perfect choice. We won't think twice about staying there again.

The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Close walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Liked the private beach very much. Staff was friendly. However there was nothing grand or spectacular about our stay, but I didn't want to pay for that. It was clean and convenient and affordable, everything I was looking for and I would stay there again or recommend it to someone.

It started years ago I came for my Wedding Anniversary and every since whenever I come I stay there. the place is just execellent place to stay, great location and the staff is always friendly and willing to assist. We were very pleased with our accomodations. We had an excellent view of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. The room was clean and the housekeeping service was very good. We came during the late time of year when it wasn't crowded so that added to our enjoyment, even with all the rain. I should also add that the breakfast buffet was very good and an added benefit.

We arrived in the middle of the night and the front desk folks were very helpful and cheerful despite the odd hour. The room was spacious and comfortable and a great value (though I'm sure some of that is that it was off-season). There was very limited parking because of a full house and our late arrival, and, again, the front desk was very helpful in solving that. The breakfast which was included was very nice with a wide selection of items and a comfortable setting. We were actually only there for about 5 hours - but we thought it was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Dockside Waterfront was a really nice location - a beautiful beach and view of of the waterfront from our balcony - but the interior finishings appeared "dated" especially the bathroom fixtures. We also appreciated the central location of the facility which allowed us to walk to the shopping and eating areas. The breakfast area was much appreciated - it was fully stocked and clean and is a good selling point. The other amenities such as workout room and pool with jacuzzi were excellent.

Originally I had booked a room with the water view (which I shouldn't complain we did get), but it was on the floor below the ground & the last room closest to the street. It did have a view, however we had to go outside to see the water. It wasn't bad, but I guess I should've been more specific on what I'd hoped for. I'd hoped for an upper floor with a balcony where we could sit out & have coffee in the morning & sit out & watch the sunset. I asked if we could be switched, but there were no more rooms. The hotel was nice, but not too crazy about the breakfast. It is great that it was complimentary, but didn't know that we'd have to walk up so many stairs & we're not spring chickens anymore, to get it. It tasted alright, but not very impressed. We would stay there again, but this time indicate exactly the room I'd like. We liked the fact that it was the closest hotel to the downtown area & the Irish Pub! We were in there every night!
