We got upgraded when we walked in, servos was amazing, rooms were nice, could of had a bigger tv but that was the only problem in my book

The hospitality here is remarkable. The views of Lake Huron, the Bridge are breathtaking, the beach is wonderful. The location is perfect to the main strip of downtown. It's the premiere place to stay. Totally recommend the Hampton Inn, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed one night for the Labor Day Bridge Walk. Glad that rooms are on inside hall. Comfy bed, and nice to have a balcony over the water. It was a very busy check in Sunday evening & especially busy for check out Monday am before the Bridge Walk. Would have been nice to have a grab & go breakfast & coffee to go since we checked out before breakfast was available to be ready for the walk.

Friendly staff room was clean will definitely be back!!! Just one suggestion, the balcony rails need to be swept for spiders!!!!! Otherwise it was perfect!!!!!

It is a beautiful Hotel with great rates. Our room was clean and view was wonderful on the water. Only wish the buffet would been open more than 2 hours we did not get to have breakfast because we got there at 9 and they was putting it all away. Should at least have it until 10.

Front Desk Fifi was very accommodating We got there early and she worked with us Room nice and clean. Breakfast was the same each day. No eggs ??? This is the only area we see for improvement. More variety please

Everything was fine. The front desk was well-staffed when we checked in. One employee was very thorough and courteous with the couple she was assisting. The employee who assisted us was not friendly, did not seem to enjoy what she was doing, and seemed incapable of a smile. Maybe shed had a rough day Or its been a long season. So we try to always give a person a break. But its not the most pleasant way to start a visit.

Nice propertycheck in process was ridiculously long and disorganized though.they need some kind of texting process to let you know when your room is ready. Folks were sitting in the lobby at 6 pm waiting for their room to finally be ready. Understanding that this was the end of the holiday weekend, but institute some kind of process so that folks can be walking around town and exploring rather than sitting in the lobby waiting. Or standing in line waiting.

Our hotel stay was great. The hotel was clean and run quite well. What we didnt like was the crap stores at Mackinaw Crossing. Every clothing store carried the same low grade merchandise, and whats up with all the wine tasting stores. What happened to all the stores with the great merchandise? It used to be great going store to store to check out all the great merchandise that each store carried. You only have one store in this category. We were very disappointed and are not planning to return to Mackinaw City.

Front desk employees were super-friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Lobby and our room were both very clean, although the textured floor of the (older) bathtub could use some elbow grease with a Magic Eraser. Room was spaciouslarger than we expectedwith a balcony overlooking the lake. Convenient to the ferry and to the shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Front counter lady was a bit over the top. She told customer, if you don't have the correct papers then please step out of line so can help people who are ready. Hmmmm. The hotel was behind in cleaning rooms. A little tension in hotel. But beds were okay. Food was good. Hotel was clean. Fireworks were great. :-)

It was a nice hotel. Breakfast needs great improvements...cold ham and pancakes every morning we were there (3) . Plug-in in the bathroom needed to be re-done because it sticks out from the wall where I plugged in the blow dryer. Our room had a great view...waterside. Room was pretty clean.

The hotel is very clean and desk checkin staff are wonderful but I gave it only four stars because the breakfast was awful. Mediocre coffee, pancakes terrible even fruit salad ( dont know what the fruit was ) bland. Fortunately we grabbed some fresh apples a bagel and made coffee in our room. We love the location so we will return, only hope they change their morning breakfast menu.

Room was more on the small side but was nice and comfortable. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location was great for sightseeing and restaurants. The best restaurant we ate at was Darrow which was off the Main Street.
