My husband and I decided to stay the night in Mackinaw City on Thursday. We chose Hamilton Inn and were very satisfied with our lakefront room! Our room was very accessible from parking lot, and we appreciated that as my husband has back issues. The room was very comfortable. The desk staff were very nice. We would happily stay again.

Loved having a view of water and being able to hear the waves hitting the rocks. We slept well and enjoyed the idea of a starter breakfast in a bag. Please change your brand of coffee for the rooms. What we had was terrible. We'd definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Balcony view was lovely, room was a little dusty however “clean”. Furniture was outdated but served the purpose, spent most of our time walking around the city or the island, bed was comfortable. There is no breakfast included at the time of our stay due to Covid. We opted to not have housekeeping, and they left us fresh towels at our door, without even asking, the staff were great and friendly

Had a 4th floor room facing the bay and had perfect weather to leave patio door open and enjoy the sound of the waves washing up on the beach all night, due to covid restrictions we missed out on the normal breakfast buffet which was really disappointing. Overall room was very clean and stay was enjoyable. Inn was within walking distance of both ferry docks and short walk to the main shopping areas.

I enjoyed my stay. Felt the hotel was clean. Staff was very courteous. Only thing better was if jacuzzi jets would have been working, but I was pleased pool was open and warm. Nice to get in it after long fun days. For the most part guests respected social distancing which made the stay feel safer.

Staff pleasant and wonderful as always. Accommodations very good. Why good vs outstanding? Covid-19. Miss the breakfast bar. Miss smiling with the staff. We stayed in a king room with a jacuzzi tub. The room was wonderful, right on the water, & super close to both ferry lines. My only complaint is that check in is after 4pm & check out is by 10am. This is awfully odd timing & we had to request both an early check in & late check out.

Being right on the beach was wonderful - and we used the jacuzzi every night of our stay. The breakfast was paltry and the maids, while very nice and friendly, were very noisy, waking us up a couple times. Otherwise, good service, location, and a nice stay.

The sign out front said hot breakfast and there was no hot breakfast. They should take it off their sign. We were not happy that we were not informed about this until I asked that morning and was given 2 for one at the Toast and Go down the street. The line was terrible long and we did not have time for breakfast before we got on the ferry. I would have thought maybe the hotel would have had something, even if it was served by their employees or take and go bags from the hotel. Other than that the hotel was in a great location and very clean.

We had a wonderful stay here! Our suite was big and clean and truly beachfront. Only thing is their was no vent in the second bedroom so it got really hot in their. Also, when booking I requested 1st floor for a specific reason and got 3rd floor. I know all request can’t be granted, however I called to discuss this before coming and was told I would get 1st floor. We made it work and had an enjoyable stay here
