We loved being able to walk onto the beach. We appreciated the front desk staff giving us options for which floor and the pros and cons of each. The breakfast room felt too busy for us, so we ate out instead. The key card was frustrating as it took several times to get it just right for entering. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was not good. Very low quality food. Ham that was very thin and eggs out of a carton. Down the road how ever is Darrow's family restaurant. Very good food. The light house, and toast up restaurants food sucks.. cheap taste to the food. Other than that. Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront Mackinaw CityHamilton Inn Select Beachfront Deborah from Fort Mill stayed in September 2024I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because of Zachary when I called he was very nice gave me a lot of information and then when I called back I talked to the manager and she was evidently very busy or had a bad day. The beach area is pretty, It was great that shepler ferry had a free shuttle. The pool is very cloudy dangerous you can't even see the bottom. We asked when the pool was gonna be cleaned she pointed to a guy and said that's what he's standing there for, how were we supposed to know who he was?. The beds are very comfortable the rooms are nice, The breakfast is basic, meat eggs and pancakes waffles. We got to use Crown Choice Waterpark, the kids slash playground is pretty clean and awesome the pool and jacuzzi were so cloudy you can't see the bottom which is again dangerous and water sprayers in jacuzzi didn't work so it was just a really hot pool.These comments are from a verified stayDid you find this helpful?| -
