Nice hotel, clean, quiet. It’s the only one i could find in the area that can accomodate a big group of people in a room. We had two large suites that were connected to each other that were perfect for family reunions. The price is also very affordable. And the free breakfast was great! Will stay again.

We had a nice stay at the Mackinaw Beach & Bay. The room was very nice and gave us a great spot to unwind after a long day. The view from the balcony was amazing just being able to sit out there and look at the water. The hotel was in a great spot for us to go run around and do stuff everything was only a few minutes away. I would definitely suggest this hotel for others to stay in!

Hotel and room was clean. View of the lake, beach and bridge was beautiful. Pool had way to much clorine. I do wish the blankets were a bit thicker. Our king bed was a little too hard but we definitely will be staying again when we come back. I would recommend this hotel.

The suite worked very well for 3 people. Staff was friendly and responsive to issues. Great location. Breakfast was sufficient. Joan in the dining room worked very hard. The hotel could use some updates, but can't complain with the reasonable pricing. Room was kept very clean.

We enjoyed our stay at Mackinaw Beach & Bay, the hotel was well maintained and there was shuttle service to the ferry docks for the Island. We were in town for the Zoo de Mack bike ride, and the hotel even offered a secured area to store our bikes. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel was so lovely. It was so kind of them to open up the hotel since the bridge was closed that night. The owner was so kind and helpful, it was way more than we expected. The rooms were huge and comfortable with the balconies, such a wonderful place to rest for the evening.

Rooms were large- great for a family with kids. Kitchenette area was useful to be able to make snacks. Rooms were clean. Only issue was noisy guests on the beach till way after midnight one night with a fire, shouting and singing (hotel cannot be responsible for that though)

The sandy beach was literally steps from our door with a bridge view. There are bonfire pits on the beach.The room was very clean and spacious. The free hot breakfast was great and well stocked. All rooms there are lake view and are 2 rooms in 1. One is separated from the other room by the bathroom. Wifi is not strong enough for a hotel with multiple people streaming etc. Buy tickets for anything at the desk to save a little. Overall it gets an A from our family.

The rooms are great...I have stayed in Mackinaw City every year for the last 5 years. We stayed at a different hotel than Mackinaw Beach and Bay once and regretted it doing that. Unfortunately the older gentleman at the front desk (maybe the owner) isn't very nice, he makes it seems like you're a hindrance. It has been like that each year. For the price and the view (stay in a beach front balcony) you can let go wrong.
