Blue Water Beachfront Hotel Overview
Incredible view of Mackinac Island! 200 feet of sandy, private beach. Campfires on the Beach! One of few hotels in Mackinaw with FREE Wireless Internet in Lobby & Breakfast Room. All Guestrooms have either King or Queen size beds. We have both Deluxe Beachfront & Economical Non-beachfront Rooms. All Rooms come standard with Refrigerator / Hair Dryers. Lakefront Guestrooms have french door opening onto private balconies with views of the Island, and the bay. Indoor Waterpark on-site.

Breakfast was just all right, crowded. It rained the night before but was a beautiful morning so we dried off our own table and chairs and ate outside, but most guests are too lazy to simply help themselves so they hovered around tables inside waiting for people to leave complaining the whole time. That is what I would have chosen. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Both pool areas were also clean. It was nice to have access to the Comfort Inn's water park. The only downfall was lack of seating at breakfast. We were given permission to use the 1 handicapped spot left. Possibly have a few extra parking stalls. Other than that, we really enjoyed our brief stay. Out 8 year old Granddaughter was with us, and she really enjoyed the water park. We are planning on returning with her again and staying an extra day this year. The spray park was a bit of a disappointment, was mislead of what it was(more for toddlers). We also had some special guest visitors while using the hot tub...4 teenage boys mentioned they just hop around from hotel to hotel using the hot tubs and waterpark. Also, the waterpark...down the street, was a bit "babyish" for my 7 & 9 year old boys. Our room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was fabulous and well worth the stay, but a bit confusing on what building to go to, since its combined with the hotel next door. Very willing to provide extra linens and were very helpful in finding the water park. We also loved the beach in back of the hotel and they were very friendly about letting the children play there even after we had checked out in the morning. We'll be going back again!
