Everything was pretty nice. The only thing I didn't like, was the pool. The pool was so overly chlorinated, that my eyes were burning just sitting next to it watching the kids. When I swam, I got the expected red eyes. Our swimsuits were so soaked in chlorine, that when we got home and washed them, everything else that was in the machine with them, reeked of chlorine as well. So, good hotel! Rooms are very nice and clean with great views of the water. We did have some issues with our air conditioning and our room. Our room was not restocked with coffee but I did call the front desk and someone brought it up right away. Even though I did not go to the breakfast buffet, my daughter did. There needs to be changes to the food on the buffet like real eggs etc. I would stay here again even though we had these few issues. The hotel is very relaxing and clean. I would recommend to friends/family that they should stay there. I would not hesitate to stay again on a future vacation. Only 2 complaints and they are minor. A lack of elevators in the hotel. Long waits for elevator service and no elevator up to the fourth floor. Also, 2 of the 3 ice machines I located were not working during our entire stay. Our room was not ready the staff because of this upgraded our room from a standard waterfront balcony room to a Deluxe Balcony Room (RM 249) Since we were staying until Friday July 22nd the upgrade was appreciated. Angelita was the person assigned to our room and took great pride into making sure our stay was pleasant. Angelita was respectful and professional we felt like honored guests. Nice balcony too that we could sit on in the evening and watch our kids play in the sand. Nice hotel, nice staff. The breakfast bar that is included with the stay is not that good but if you only want coffee and a small snack it's ok. No bacon, just sausage patties and would run out of food a lot. When we arrived the suite was nothing like the one pictured on the website. We looked out into the parking lot not the beach. We had one bottle of shampoo for 7 people and no towels. When we asked at the desk they very promptly apologized and took care of the matter. Our stay was three nights and all three days we had to ask about shampoo. We thought the breakfast bar was excellent. We did find the staff very helpful and the rooms/hotel was very clean. One in our group had been a housekeeper so this was a big item for her.
