We received a personal phone call confirming our reservation. Upon arrival, we were greated by everyone at the reception desk and given an upgrade, which we enjoyed fully. The location can't be beat. Paying extra for the balcony view of the beach and Lake Huron was worth it. When we thought we left something behind in the room the staff was very accomodating. The room was beautifullly decorated, and very comfortable beds and the bathroom was also beautiful with a TV in it! This hotel is right next to Star Lines so we were able to just walk to the boat and leave our car in the hotel parking lot. The breakfast room is huge and very clean and good breakfast! When we arrived, the rooms were not next to each other. The front desk was able to change our rooms to honor their promise. After watching the lazer show, we returned to one of our rooms to find that the bathroom sink would not drain at all. Maintenance was immediately sent to solve the problem which they did although it was 11:30p before they finished.
