The only suggustion would be to have the cleaning person check at the front desk before knocking on the door to see if we were gone. Check out is at 11 and the attendant knocked shortly after 10. We were still relaxing trying to enjoy every last minute. If the attendant would have seen that we had not returned our key they would have known not to disturb us. The room was spotless and fully stocked...We stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites a few months earlier and had only one small towel to share, despite calls to 'hospitality'. The hot breakfast was not only hot and tasty but fun! We decided to get one of those waffle irons for home too! The Hamilton Inn had no where to store my luggage for a few hours, so I could enjoy more of Mackinaw while waiting for my partner.
