We had a balcony room overlooking the water, and it was beautiful. Our sliding screen door had a glitch our first night, and maintenance came up and fixed it immediately. The breakfast in the morning consisted of basically pancakes and ham fruit cocktail waffles toast coffee milk orange juice that's about it 2 days we tried it and after one day of pancakes that was enough other than that our stay has been very nice All the employees have been very nice We would stay here again but the breakfast definitely needs work.These comments are from a verified stay

However, the pool needed maintenance and the jacuzzi was not working. Lawn chairs instead of beach chairs or loungers. Breakfast was pancakes and ham every day. No eggs or fresh fruit option other than grainy apples. There appears to be one small cleaning crew for the entire hotelAnd they were struggling to have rooms ready by check in time. A little bit of investment in a few small touches could make this hotel feel like its worth a lot more money: pool maintenance, beach furniture, fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast, and a couple extra cleaning staff members would make all the difference. The first interaction I had with someone on the phone was very negative as she hung up on me, then continued to hang up on me whenever I called back. Ultimately I got a hold of a manager and resolved the problem. Once I got to the hotel and saw how overwhelmed the women were at the front desk, and answering the phones, I understood why she was so short. The clerk was very friendly and answered all my questions. The room was clean and spacey. The only complaint was the thinness of the walls. We were in a room just outside the elevators and we could hear families talking as they waited for the elevator. The location of our room did come in handy for us as the fireworks on Fri night were lit off from a barge in the lake just in front of our room- no reason for us to leave.
