Hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. Pool and hot tub area was extremely hot and the hot tub could use a little updating. We were with a group and some people could check in and others had to wait. After almost 5 hours of driving it would have been nice to get in our rooms but unfortunately we had to wait and because of activities planned we could not get to our room until like 6:30 ish. The planner of the trip said this must be a current change because it has always been 2 pm before. I don't think this was mentioned when we made our reservations. Otherwise the room was ok, screen in sliding door had a rip and because of the bugs we had to turn on the air. Reception was polite and helpful. Breakfast was nice, they should consider putting the waffle maker and toaster separate from the other items because you have to wait for device to cook item and your kinda in the way of others. I watched as they tried to accommodate everyone that walked in. Even though the women checking in were rude and impolite, these ladies behind the desk were so patient and kind.. Amazing women. They were helpful with recommendations for local dining and activities, I would give the staff 5 stars. The hotel itself is in a great location, loved proximity to the shopping, dining, ferry service and being on the water provided amazing views. The amenities in the hotel, with the pool, laundry and vending machines were great. The hotel was clean, however the furnishings and decorations are very dark and outdated.
