Bed was not as comfortable as expected and we could hear the people walking above us. Room needs to be upgraded-too much dark furnitures and trim.Also, room had a musty smell and felt damp.Floor in the shower was somewhat slippery, almost like the cleaning solution was not rinsed properly. On the good side, the front desk people at check were friendly and welcoming. We did not see a need to contact the desk for any changes since we were there for only one night. The room we had was seated with a good view of the lake, very easy access to the parking lot, and a fantastic jacuzzi. The space, tv, lights, dresser and drawers, and bathroom were fantastic. The coffee maker was fine. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, but that's more of a preference. We loved the pool and the whole pool room. The temperature was incredible, and the hot tub was amazing. The breakfast was unfortunately fairly bland. It could have used bacon, sausagae, yogurt, or oatmeal. The seating space for the breakfast felt nice and clean though. There just weren't really many options of food, and things were starting to run out of quantity. The staff were fantastic. Wonderfully friendly, smart, and professional people all. They were great and welcoming and very helpful when we had any questions. The hotel was excellently clean, cozy, and such a happy place to be. We loved the proximity to the downtown too. We could walk just about anywhere, and parking in the hotel lot was easy. We appreciated the maid Angelita's work in the room. Thought the $167 price was fair. We did wonder whether the carpet had been vacuumed sufficiently as both my wife and I stepped into the shower and saw mud on floor.The breakfast room was not good. The sink stopper was missing, we didn't have a microwave like our companions, the refridgator was in a cabinet with the door on backwards. Just little things like that. The breakfast was very good, but the hours were short. We got there with 20 minutes to go and the cereal was gone and not re-filled. Things were warm; not hot. I did not feel rushed however. We received an upgrade without asking for one. And, an employee chased down a luggage cart for us when we were getting ready to check out. Facility also does daily housekeeping, which we don't see everywhere anymore. Hotel located near one of the ferry lines and several restaurants.
