There was a great beach beneath our balcony, but one had to be closer to the window to see it. Although we didn't have a chance to use the pool, it looked very clean and was in a great area. I would only add that there are some rooms that are really far from the elevators and we had small kids we were carting all over the hotel but it gave us a chance to get some extra exercise.
