Alway such a nice drive through Michigan. Mackinaw City is such a unique place..the weather was horrible, blowing a gale on Mothers Day but we managed a walk through your down town village. We were greeted cordially and asked if we wished to upgrade, which we did as it was off season. We would love to come back but under better circumstances and of course better weather. The staff was friendly. The rooms are large, they have storage to hang clothes, a tv, fridge in everyroom. the bathroom is large and plenty of counter space for multiple people to share. Beds and pillows are comfortable we sleep great. They serve a hot breakfast that has a variety of options so everyone is happy. We stayed 2 nights and then returned a week or so later when I had to come back to the area. I know the prices were low because of preseason but the regular prices are fair too. I'm glad they are open all year round. We will be back and we will tell other familes that it's a great place to stay.These comments are from a verified stay

They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The room was very comfortable overall. The room, though, seemed to be in need of some minor repairs: The sliding screen door to the balcony was not operating correctly (came off track easily and would 'stick') and the hair dryer was missing a button (though it operated just fine). Otherwise, I would definitely stay at the hotel again! Rooms were clean, and nicely decorated. Traveling with 90 yr old so room request close to entrance doors, etc was honored. Due to our short stay each night we didn't experience breakfast, pool, or have much staff interaction so my rating is GOOD.
