Ashley was gracious and has such a pleasant personality! The location of the room - a balcony view of the beach/water was perfect. The room itself could use some upgrades and minor maintenance which we need ruined when we checked out. The unfortunate situation was a group of people who were playing loud music on the beach after 10pm and having a fire (on which they continued to pour starter fluid - which had an awful smell coming right into our room). The price was good compare to others around but i guess you get what you pay for. The room was clean but in desperate need of repair because of the staining on the ceiling and caulking in the bathroom. The screen doors going outside was either missing or ripped up on three of the rooms we looked at. We stayed for 5 nights and they said they would have it fixed but never happened so we couldn't have sliding door open in the beautiful weather we had all week. We ended up paying full price for the Ugly Anne cruise because the desk staff could not help us with the cruise reservation. Booking the trolley tour was a nightmare, so we ended up not doing that. The beds were comfortable in this room. The door latch/catch-plate was broken on our door; it was usable for locking the door but we had to hold it up each time closing the door to make the latch catch. We did inform the front desk of this to hopefully fix it for future guests. The patio door screen was almost torn out of the frame on 2 sides; it didn't affect the usage but will let bugs in if not fixed. The "inside" air conditioner was basically a joke for this room. It never cooled the room at all! The remote showed that our room was 81 or higher the whole time we were there. I don't think the room was that warm at night but it never cooled off either for a 4th-floor room.These comments are from a verified stay

At least thirty minutes. I think the computer was slow. Room was nice and on the water. Beautiful view for a very cheap price. Room was clean but VERY dated. Carpet was worn bare in several spots. Limited service due to Covid but, we still enjoyed our stay. The manager at the front desk advised me to contact the Chamber in regards to getting my funds back from the adult carriage tour and Fort Mackinaw that I purchase but due to the rude and Fort being booked up for the day, we were unable to use the tickets we purchase. The manager at the front desk signed the tickets stating they were not used so the Mackinaw City Chamber could give us a refund. We were on our way to Hancock in the Upper Peninsula to spend time with our grandson abd great grandson to celebrate his 1st birthday. Mackinaw City is only about 6 hour away so we decided to stay the night there and we are glad we did. The view of Lake Huron was beautiful. The rate that we got through your website was quite a bit lower than any other site that we tried. Thank you for a most pleasant stay.
