Clean rooms, excellent staff. Only complaint is a report that our children were making a lot of noise preventing other guest from sleeping. It wasn't our children; they were in bed and asleep. We also heard the noise but did not complain.

The staff were all very pleasant and accomodating. We were able to purchase discounted tickets for the ferry to the island. Our view was wonderful. The exterior hallways and rooms are in need of updating. If that were done I would give it 4 stars.

The Best Western Dockside is a clean and very nice place to stay in Mackinaw City. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. We like the deep Jacuzzi. The Breakfast Buffet makes it a good value. It is on the lake and is close to many attractions and services.

Our only complaint was not the motel's fault, it was the bugs the first two days we were there. Fortunately we were there at the end of their cycle. The motel was very clean, the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and was kept full through the entire breakfast timeframe. The staff were very helpful and attentive to making sure that their service was great. Enjoyed the stay very much and would return to this motel.

This location lived up to the good expectations expected at a Best Western. Clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, informative front desk. While I understand the efficiency of plastic utensils at breakfast, it is always a disappointment to use them. Free parking was great; location couldn't have been better with the views of the water.

I had a little trouble with making or trying to make a reservation with the front desk. They said they didn't have the room I wanted. The girl was kind of snippie! I backed out of that conversation and went on line and got the room I wanted at the price I wanted to pay, Upon arrival the front desk they were very accommodating and courteous. They helped us with discount tickets for the ferry and directions. The room exceeded expectations and was clean and quiet. The breakfast bar also exceeding expectations. 5 star overall

The hotel was incredible! Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. We'd give five stars if it wasn't for the room's shower design; the little ramp into the shower allowed water to leak out and into the rest of the of the bathroom, and because there was no drain outside of the shower the water sat there until we soaked it up with towels. Other than this our stay was wonderful!

Really enjoyed the stay. The front desk check in experience was great. The staff at the desk was pleasant, efficient and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. It was on the first floor and had a patio door that allowed one to walk out directly to the beach. The breakfast was included with the room and was much better than most. We enjoyed the hot tub and spent some time in the adjacent community room. My only issue was that the wifi was slow and disconnected once in a while. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
