The hotel stay was excellent. We love coming. However, I booked my reservation in March. Then, the morning we were driving down (about 10 AM), I received a phone call that said that they had to change my reservation because the room I booked wouldn't allow the number of people I stated in my reservation. I don't know why your site would allow me to book this room with the number of people I was bringing and then the morning I'm checking in the reservation can be changed. I wanted lakeview and my room was changed to courtyard. I WAS NOT HAPPY. Fortunately, we were 2 less people upon arrival and the management was able to move us back to lakeview. I booked the room I booked because that's the type of room we wanted--changing it, especially at that late date, is NOT acceptable.

Nice location, walking distance to downtown, piers, ferry, etc. Nice beach with chaise lounge chairs. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Clean hotel and grounds. Large pool and hot tub overlooking the strip. Overall great experience, I will return.

Good location, excellent view of the fireworks on the fourth, clean and pleasant room, housekeeping staff was excellent. Only reason not giving an excellent rating is because when we checked in, three clerks behind the desk but none paid us any attention until I asked for help. Then the one who finally asked if she could help was quite surly (sounded like she was from Jamaica). Another clerk stepped in and took over and was nice and helpful.

We reserved a waterfront room with a balcony which was on the third floor about a week or more before our trip. The room was clean, staff was cheerful and helpful. Had also ordered tickets for a boat trip to Mackinac Island when we made our reservations, these were at discounted rates. Had a lovely 3 day stay. Loved listening to the waves on the beach from our balcony and watching the birds and boats. Breakfast was great, many choices of food. Within short walking distance to downtown shopping.
