This was a return visit to the same Best Western and plan to return next year. It was clean, warm and comfortable. The only problem was a lack of towel racks. The sink area is outside of the bathroom and there is no where to hang the used towels and it is inconvenient to go into the bathroom to dry your hands. Consequently you pile up the used ones around the sink and end up using another clean one - you have a message about water & energy conservation and to reuse towels but this makes it very difficult. The bathroom also needs towel racks, we stayed for 3 consecutive nights and had no where to hang the used towels. We certainly would have reused more if there was a place to hang and keep track of them.

Rooms were clean and decorated nicely, quite and the veiw of the water was nice. Could have used a light on the balcony for the nite time veiwing. Beds slept well, but the pull out couch could have used more chush, mattress a little thin for 60 and up.

The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view wasn't as nice as I had hoped it would be. Breakfast left a little bit to be desired. Was looking forward to some gravy but it was not very good. Wish we had been told pick up our coupon pack before our check in time and prior to our ferry trip to Mackinaw Island. It would have saved up $15 on five tickets for the ferry.

Although it was a busy time when we arrived to check in, the staff was friendly and quick to take care of us. Room was clean and odor free. It is unusual to walk into a hotel room and not get a smoke/musty/unclean smell. Bed was extremely comfortable. The continental breakfast was good, you had to wait quite a while to get to the food. I think they need a larger serving area. Hotel is close to downtown and we had a lakeview room and could watch the boats traveling back and forth to Mackinaw Island.

The room was great. I rate the hotels by the bed, since that is where you are most of the stay. This was one of the most comfortable mattresses that I have slept on. The hot tub was real nice and the room was very clean. The breakfast was very good. I will go back to stay there again. The fall prices were fantastic at $79.

The room was everything I wanted. I wanted a special weekend for my wife and me, so I got a room with a jacuzzi tub. When we got there we checked in and the front desk ladies were very nice and had everthing ready for us. We went to the room and it was perfect, added water to the tub and enjoyed it. THe beds were fantastic, I have a fake memory foam bed and the Tempur pedic was wonderful. I am now planning to replace my mattress with a tempurpedic. Thanks again for a wonderful Hotel.

The room was very clean and attratively updated with a wonderful view of the beach from the balcony. On the negative side was the location of the breakfast room. It was on the third floor and the only way to get there was to use the outdoor walkway on the third floor and it was windy and raining when we were there. It also would have been nice to be greeted with a 'welcoming smile' when checking in.
