The hotel was good, nothing fancy, but perfectly fine for us. Everything is within walking distance, including the docks for the ferry to Mackinac Island. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back soon.

We had a great time. The beach area needed to be racked and or cleaned. Also the chairs needed cleaned and the broken pieces pickednup. All kn all ot was a good place to stay

We received the best price from your website, and when e checked in, they upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. The rooms were huge, We could see the bridge and the lake. The pool was warm and great to swim in.Our room came with microwave and small fridge with freezer. Breakfast was good.

We were very pleased with the Clarion. We liked the location because we could walk or bike to the ferry docks. Our kids spent hours in Clarion's pool and Choice's water park. Our room was just the right size for our family of 5 and the Lake view was beautiful throughout the day and evening. Housekeeping was excellent and the desk staff provided helpful assistance with our trip package. The breakfast bar was a delicious and energizing start to each day. We will definitely return to Mackinaw City and the Clarion Hotel. It was our kids first time to Mackinaw and it won't be the last.

I love staying at the Clarion in Mackinaw City because it's right next to the dock for the Star line ferry. I always get a room with a lakeside view, relax on the balcony, get up in the morning and catch a ride to the island. I also love the convienence of booking everything through the Chamber of Commerce, arrive at the hotel and the staff has everything ready and away we go.

We reserved a room with 3 queen beds & a queen sofa for 5 people. The room was very nice. 2 Queen beds & the sofa in one area, small hallway with the bathroom to the other area with 1 queen bed. Plenty of space & comfortable. Our room ended up being lakeview There was a nice balcony with chairs to sit & enjoy beautiful view of Lake Huron. The room was clean & comfortable. The hotel service was very helpful.

On this bittersweet trip, involving a memorial gathering to honor her, I was reminded how great the Clarion is. The staff was totally professional, and the amenities were greatly appreciated. Inn on Mackinac has been my choice each time I visit my daughter who works on Mackinac - the staff is excellent, accommodating, so friendly. I spent one of the days at the sundeck, to come up to my room and have a staff member knock on the door just as I had closed it with fresh baked warm cookies. Such a neat treat to break up the day, there were also crackers and cheese with lemonade in the lobby set up as you come in. It's a nice little pick me up when you don't feel like walking the short distance where all of the restaurants are. The rooms are always exceptionally clean. My only one complaint would be that they let other hotels use their pool spa & sundeck, so it gets crowded since it's so small. All & all - I absolutely love it and will continue to choose it as "my place" that I regularly stay.

Enjoyed the comfortable bed and the view of the lake from the balcony. Only minor complaint is that the sofa bed in the room did not face the TV which is why we wanted the sofa! The chairs in the room worked fine though, just not as comfortable. Would probably stay there again as the girls at the front desk were also very nice and helpful.

The only complaint i have is our room was beachfront with balcony on the 3rd floor. It was wonderful except for the other guests smoking on there balcony. It would be nice for no smoking in rooms or balcony.
