Nice room clean room with in walking distance of docks. The only thing I did not like was when I registered for the room back in March it was at a cost of 109. 00 a night then just before we got there I seen on the hotel web site that the cost per night was $89 they would not adjust the difference.

Check in was quick, accurate, and the staff was very knowledgable about the area. Very close to 2 island ferries and discounts are available at the front desk. Our room was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. I especially liked that we had a deck overlooking the beach--beautiful and peaceful sunrise view. The complimentary breakfast was delicious too. Hot food was hot and the waffles were great. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and spacious. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to friends. One thing that is unusual is that the building with the beach view is 1/2 story off from the building with the elevator, so carrying luggage up and down a few stairs in unavoidable if staying in those rooms. I recommend this property!

Outstanding because of the room size. It's hard to find rooms to accommodate five comfortably. The two room suite with one king and two queens was great. Nice and clean also. Price was very affordable.

The weather was not wonderful for our long weekend stay, but it did not interfere with what we wanted to do. The general manager, Brendon, was most cordial and welcoming and made sure that our arrangements were up to our expectations; which they were. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

We actually stayed at the Crown Choice Inn and Suites. The waterpark/pool was great for our granddaughters. The room was clean, however, the sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock. We, therefore, had to change rooms because there wasn't anyone to repair the door in our first room. Staff was courteous and friendly. I would go back and definitely would recommend the waterpark.

Toward South end of strip, helps one to be a little removed, and a little farther from most resturaunts. But if you don't feel like walking, there is a back entrance to parking lot for a real fast shortcut. :-) Beach was great, and peaceful - we had lake front room that was fabulous. Staff was wonderful and friendly. 5 star friendly. By the third step into the lobby (on each occasion) the person at the desk acknowledged me with hello, be right with you, how can I help you sayings. NO ONE was on a cell phone when I walked in the door.

The people were great, the room was clean and comfortable and the view was awesome. The reason for the good rather than outstanding was that in order to stay waterfront it is a little difficult to get to your room with a suitcase. You take an elevator and go down a breezeway which sounds easy enough, however there are a few small flights of stairs as well. The floors do not seem to be level. Also the 25 foot buffet does not have much variety, there are multiple duplications on it. The food that is there is good and the area is large, with lots of windows. Also, you have to go outside and across the parking lot to get to the pool area. Once you are inside it is very nice, just not convenient.

My family enjoyed our stay at Fairview and we would stay there again.they were very accommodating. Quick service in every area from the moment we walked in the door . (With out reservations)we were treated like we mattered.we got exactly what we reserved (3 weeks ago @ BAYSIDE.and DIDN'T GET ) when we walked into Fairview I was immediately relaxed knowing my children and grandchildren would have a place to stay for the next 2 nights . (AS THE BAYSIDE SOLD OUR RESERVED ROOMS AND LIED TO US AND SAID SOME GIRLS DESTROYED THE ROOMS AND THEY UP GRADED US TO A LESS THAN ACCOMMODATING HOTEL .which we neglected to stay at .so back we drove to Bayside (after 5 hours on the road with a 3yr old 6 yr 9 yr 10 yr and 2 11yr old kids )the desk clerk not caring one bit ...SHE WAS THE RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON WE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH ALONG WITH THE OWNER.My family has stayed there last yr but under there name .NOT ANY MORE.so they lost future revenue. The lies we were told was unnecessary. We never received a phone call .we literally walked in with our baggage (12 peoplep and were told to go away ...so in getting back to the real question .how was my stay at Fairview ..ONCE WE WERE THERE WE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT BAYSIDE AGAIN ..THAT'S HOW GREAT IT WAS ...
