Room was clean, and quiet, they made sure I got the room I wanted, breakfast was very good, but the sausage tasted terrible, I asked where it came from they said gordons food service, told them they needed to get better meat, but they probably won't.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Some of the things seemed slightly dated, such as peeling wallpaper. The pool and hot tub were very nice but most of the machines in the workout room did not work. The hotel beach was great and the breakfast was delicious. Overall a good stay.

The most important thing when staying at a hotel is the cleanliness of the rooms. Room was very clean. When we arrived we were told we wouold be updated to a larger room. Staff was very considerate that we had driven quite a long way. Breakfast foods were adequate and good. Enjoyed our stay. Would return to this hotel.

Everything was as expected, clean, plenty of room in our choice. The only issue was that the sun set on the side of the hotel where we stayed and it took a while for the room to cool when we arrived because the air conditioner was not turned on. Also the next day when we came back to the room the curtains were drwn, the air conditioner was off and again it took some time to cool the room. I called the front desk and asked that they not turn the air off anymore and they complied. Hot tub is huge two people fit with room to spare so that is nice. You can say the hotel is out dated, but it is in good condition and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Mackinaw.
