VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE VIEW AND BEACH WERE SPECTACULAR. BREAKFAST WAS OK. THE ONLY DOWNFALL WAS NO PAY PER VIEW MOVIES AND THE STEPS TO GET TO THE FOURTH FLOOR LEVEL WERE WEIRD. NO ELEVATOR STRAIGHT TO THE FOURTH FLOOR. ALL IN ALL I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING.

This hotel was fantastic! We had such a good time!! The hotel was wonderful from the location, check in, the room itself, the breakfast and the check out! We will be back as my grandchildren feel we should come every year and I agree. We will try to make this a yearly trip and will definitely book through the Chamber and will stay again at the Clarion. Thanks so much for everything!!

Buffett was excellent as were the staff that ran it. Pool is poor but the ability to go to the other indoor waterparks made that acceptable. The lake beach area was nice and you can walk out for a long while. Desk staff were helpful. Rooms were clean. The elevator/stair situation is difficult to figure out and no matter what in the lake view section you have to do stairs which is a problem with luggage. Air conditioning quit working one day but it was fixed within a half hour- very responsive to needs.

No complaints. We have stayed at the Clarion twice now and will probably be back. Our stays are not long, so I guess we don`t put the staff to The Test, lol, but the hotel provides a good bed, cleanliness, nice TV and channel selection...things are they should be. Mackinaw merchants are nice, Clarion included. My wife and I love it, and we will be back because of its happy and relaxed vibe. Four stars that could be five, really. Please pass along our thanks to the folks at the Clarion, and please know they aren`t the only area merchants doing the City proud with a truly welcoming attitude.

The only reason I did not rate five stars was due to all the stairs to get to and from room. Not having an elevator in each wing as well as the only elevator only going to floor 3 when there are four floors was exhausting. But otherwise was an excellent stay.

The Clarion Hotel had perfect location right on the beach. We loved the pool area and the very large hot tub, too. The fact that our stay here allowed us to use the facilities at two different water parks was another plus. We had a suite that boasted a lakefront view. it was a lovely room with a great view! The breakfast had a good variety, and the fact that it was included in the price of our stay was a nice perk.

This is our 2nd year staying at this hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. No problem to check out a little bit late. There are many tv channels to choose from and a free breakfast. The hotel is close to the ferries to Mackinac Island.
