Really enjoyed our stay. The view from the room was gorgeous. Room was clean upon arrival. Only issue we had was the copious amount of spiders that we had to kill inside our room. Was even a nest that we had found in the crevice between the wall and the ceiling, in the hallway between the rooms where the door to the bathroom was located.

Very nice room and the staff were very friendly and helpful, They coordinated our events so there was minimum wait time. The only thing was we could not a very good view of the bridge! Other than that, we had a great stay....

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast is an average hotel breakfast. Room was clean, pool was warm. I prefer a hotel where you don't have to go to a different building for pool and breakfast, but it's very common up in Mackinaw. Not a deal breaker for me.

The Clarion was unable to accommodate our stay due to problems with the room we. The Clarion called us to let us know and booked us a room down the road, they took care of all accommodations for us and made sure they got us a room that would support all 8 in our party. We go every year during this weekend and will book next year with the Clarion.

Nice room. Very comfortable beds. Clean. The breakfast was great. A full breakfast, not just continental. My ONLY reason for not giving the hotel a 5 is that the two young pysho checked us in were a bit rude and we're more concerned with whomever they were texting with than helping us. The young man was very difficult to understand, and it was obvious he really didn't want to answer our questions and give us the directions we were asking for.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were upgraded to a lakeview room and we enjoyed listening to the waves roll in. The breakfast was much better than the one at our previous hotel. The next time we go to Mackinaw City, we will be staying here. I forgot to mention that the staff were very nice and helpful, Thanks for the upgrade!

Loved this hotel! People at the front desk are nice and kind! I was treated wonderful there. Breakfast was great, there was plenty to choose from. Our room was clean and we were able to relax there without the feelingmof everything was dirty. The pool stays open late and opens again the next day before checkout. I will always stay again at this hotel, was a great experience.

We loved the room location with the view of the lake, the beach, the smell of lilacs wafting up our stairs, the friendly staff and housekeeper. Housekeeping in our room was better than most hotels we've stayed in recently; however, the laundry area/game room was filthy. Generally, though, the grounds were well kept. We enjoyed our stay.

1. The rooms were clean and the staff was courteous. 2. The free breakfast was amazing. 3. We were a little disappointed in the beach area, but again it was Mackinaw, not Myrtle Beach. 4. Insects were a problem. Mostly annoying lake flies, perhaps strategically placed bug lights might help. 5. Mackinaw City Chamber of Tourism was also very helpful. The complimentary items in our package were unknown to the hotel staff, but the Chamber was quick to get a resolution. We loved our time at Mackinaw and wish to return. The entire approach from the Chamber of Tourism is amazing and quite effective. Thank you for making our vacation everything it could have been.
