I have found the Clarion to be consistently a good place to stay. Having to go to another location this time for breakfast was different, but the Hamilton was a nice place to eat.

Very good stay with only a couple of minor problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was very good. The room was very clean and well furnished. Bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good.The room was quiet with no outside noise except for being on the ground floor and we could hear people walking in the room above us but they retired early and it wasn't a problem. The minor problems was the door didn't close smoothly and needed attention. The bathroom exhaust fan was very noisy. The stair well could use a good cleaning.

The breakfast was exceptional. Best ever. The one problem we had was that the tub was too deep and my wife did not feel comfortable getting in for a shower. We are an older couple. We thought that the breakfast room was way too far away to get to in comparison to the room we had. it was raining and that made it even more Iinconvenient. We would recommend the Clarion even with these inconveniences.

Low rates!!! Wonderful stay...clean rooms, friendly staff, great recommendation for a unique place to eat ( Nona Lisa ) We were upgraded to a suite which had 2 bathrooms for only $69 !!

Was in a nice location. Staff was friendly. No road noise which was nice. Room was clean, bathroom was clean but shower curtain was very musty smelling, washing or replacing shower curtain would have taken care of the shower curtain. Found 1 of the balcony chairs broken. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

Very clean and perfect location. Nice towels and bedding. Front desk very nice and accommodating. We had a lot of totes (traveling in a truck so everything has to go into a waterproof tote) and they switched us to a first floor room so we would not have to haul everything to the other floors.

We stayed at the clarion beachfront hotel for 4 nights. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. For a hotel breakfast it was pretty decent, although the exact same things were offered each day. We had a suite with a king bed and 2 queens. The room was spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 children. It was suffientiantly cleaned, although it could use a little updating. It was always quiet in our room although we were there for a busy weekend. The pool area was very clean and my children loved the pool ( we often during the day had it to ourselves). We also visited a neighboring properties water park ( you gain access by staying at clarion) and my children had a blast. Overall, I would say for a family vacation this was a good hotel, if your looking for a romantic escape I wouldn't suggest it.

Overall, we had a nice stay. We did not spend much time in the hotel, but it provided everything that we needed during our time there. The room was clean, the bathroom was average, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The only major complaint was the internet connection was very weak in the room and did not always work.

We received the best price from your website, and when e checked in, they upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. The rooms were huge, We could see the bridge and the lake. The pool was warm and great to swim in.Our room came with microwave and small fridge with freezer. Breakfast was good.

We were very pleased with the Clarion. We liked the location because we could walk or bike to the ferry docks. Our kids spent hours in Clarion's pool and Choice's water park. Our room was just the right size for our family of 5 and the Lake view was beautiful throughout the day and evening. Housekeeping was excellent and the desk staff provided helpful assistance with our trip package. The breakfast bar was a delicious and energizing start to each day. We will definitely return to Mackinaw City and the Clarion Hotel. It was our kids first time to Mackinaw and it won't be the last.

I love staying at the Clarion in Mackinaw City because it's right next to the dock for the Star line ferry. I always get a room with a lakeside view, relax on the balcony, get up in the morning and catch a ride to the island. I also love the convienence of booking everything through the Chamber of Commerce, arrive at the hotel and the staff has everything ready and away we go.
