The staff was friendly and professional. I would've like to see a more thorough check of the rooms between guests as there was still food in our fridge and dirty clothes in the closet... It was a bit expensive to worry about things like that, in my opinion.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had booked a queen room but because our room wasn't ready they gave us a room with 2 beds. This allowed us to check in immediately. We had some problems with our hair dryer and was given a new replacement (still in the box) immediately. The location was close to all the activity.

Expedia had messed up the room I wanted and the Young Man at check in desk talked with his Manager, she helped me out and then the housekeepers Sabrina & Charmaine fixed our room up to help us celebrate our Anniversary & Husbands Birthday. In addition to that they included us in a surprise birthday celebration they had planned for one of their own coworkers who had the same birthday as my husband. They all were exceptional, Hotel was exceptional. They helped take our minds off the situation we have been going through. Thank you so very much

The breakfasts were mediocre at best and our suite was a little outdated. The absolute highlight of our stay was Fifi and Kate at the front desk. They were as helpful and pleasant as they could possibly be. We loved them.

The room was very nice. Everything was neat. The view on the lakeside balcony was the most beautiful to relax to. Staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Very close to ferry boarding. There was a jacuzzi tub in our room available but not working which was a real let down but the shower was very nice. No reason not to stay here! Note: The midges people are talking about are everywhere in the city and island. Were not as bad when we were there but still present. They cannot control all of the pests.

The view- pay the extra for the 3rd floor lake view- amazing!!! Cleaning team was a bit late but the reception was lovely. Breakfast was ample. The beach was great and the price was reasonable. Super close to the ferry and walkable to all Mackinaw City attractions.

Only 4 stars because with the amount I paid, I feel like the room could have been more up to date. The screen door to the balcony was broken and would not slide correctly. The bathroom door stuck closed so we could never shut it all the way. However, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the jacuzzi tub in the room was awesome, and the view from our room was great. Plus we had the best view for the firework show
