Clean room with a comfortable bed. Great service at the front desk. Loved the size of the jacuzzi and the balcony view. Didn't get to use the pool or hot tub due to it being packed with kids all day and night. Figured it would be adults only after a certain time but it wasn't... Overall had a great weekend even with it being the off season!!

We were there in the very off season. Our room was comfortable with a beautiful view of Mackinac Island. One thing that could use attention is the beach but fully understandable given the time we were there. I'm sure it's much cleaner in the busier season. Over all very much enjoyed our stay

The breakfast was delicious, the room was big and comfortable, but the high point was the view. You could see the whole lake and the island from your hotel room.

The view was breathtaking. The sunrise was fantastic. We came in the off season so it was peaceful. Not very many people at all. The room was very clean and elegant.

Everyone was friendly. The room was clean. All the public spaces were clean, and quite beautiful. The coffee was fine. Very close to the shops and the water. I had a room with a balcony and I watched the sunrise over the lake. It was magical.

The lady who checked me in (sorry, didnt get her name) was very attentive and personable. We had a 2 Queen room. It was decorated very nice. The room was perfect for the 2 of us, but would have been crowded with 4 people. Pool looked great, but we didnt use it at all. Went out late to try to see the Northern Lights, got back late, the parking lot was full. We were lucky enough to find a spot. We stayed in late March, guessing would have to park in ferry parking lot if had been summer. Over all I would rate our stay as a 5 out of 5. Very happy.

I went to Mackinaw and stayed at the Hamilton Inn with my husband and kids for a little family getaway. We werent really sure what to expect since we were visiting on the off-season, but we were pleasantly surprised. Every employee we talked to was kind and helpful. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool. Breakfast was a nice bonus, especially since food options in Mackinaw in March are limited. The person in charge of the breakfast area was kind and quick to restock food. The TVs in the room included free shows on demand, which my kids especially enjoyed. They are already asking to go back to the hotel. Im sure it would be a much different experience to visit when the city is fully open, but we still had a great time and would choose this hotel again for future stays.

Beautiful view. This time of year was eerie as the downtown was deserted. I have usually come in the summer and there are people everywhere and all the shops and restaurants are bustling. It was a very nice experience to have the town to ourselves.

I rented a lakeside room with 2 queen beds. On arrival, I was upgraded to a 2 room suite with a jetted tub at no additional cost. It was still lakeside and was very nice. The only drawback was that the refrigerator wasnt working, but that was really no big deal. Enjoyed our stay!

Nice facility. Standing the test of time. Beautiful view. Grateful to have a nice place to stay as we pass through in the off-season. Unless I missed the elevator (we werent directed to one), access to the very nice breakfast room is a challenge. Too few charging outlets in our room. We needed five. Fortunately, I brought a power strip.

I like the balcony to look towards the lake . The place is quiet . The staff in the office are very nice . Strange breakfast selections . Dont seem to fit . Overall , I would stay again .

Checked in late due to travel, they were very accomadating , we still had time to use the pool and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable, clean hotel and breakfast was great . Every staff we encountered was so nice . Great job , we will be back .

I read a lot of reviews (bad and good) before deciding to stay at the Hamilton Inn. We invited some friends to stay there too so we were a little nervous because we weren't sure what to expect. All in all, we were very pleased. The service was good. The room was clean. The help was pleasant. It's not a fancy hotel at all but I would recommend it if you're looking for a clean, comfortable room to stay. Plus we had a nice view of the lake! Beautiful!
