Great location. Great view of the bridge, lake and Mackinac Island. Good little beach. Absolutely terrific, friendly staff. Very convenient location; strolling distance to lots of restaurants, shops AND the Star ferry. I thought the price was right for all of this. Very happy.

Always stay at the Hamilton inn, front desk to cleaning crews are always friendly. My only thing is that I wish you the city could put out a notice if your not doing the Friday night fireworks. We kept our 3 year old up till 1015 and he was so disappointed. Then after a long day of walking, we couldn't wake him up Saturday night when you did the fireworks. Put other then that it was a perfect stay in Mackinaw. See ya next year

Great location, very clean hotel. Beach was good the only drawback was our end of the beach had the bigger rocks in front of the swimming area. Once past the big rocks swimming area was excellent.

The whole experience was very nice, we as a family enjoyed it. Some of the Receptionists were nice informative and friendly, the one who helped us did not provide us with any info until we ask. A second issue we encountered was the spiders on the balcony and in the room. Cleaning should be throughout.

The hotel was lovely. We were told our room was damaged, so we were upgraded to a suite- it was beautiful! And had a view of the lake👍🏻 The location of the hotel was perfect- close to everything and easy access to the ferry to Mackinac Island. Francesca checked us in and was absolutely wonderful- fun, informative, efficient-quite a welcomed greeting after a long day of travel! Would definitely stay here again!

My only complaint is that the door was very difficult to shut (broken) and there wasn’t enough places to hang towels (no hook at all for the hand towel). Otherwise, the room was nice enough and the staff was helpful.

Very pleased with our stay at The Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront Hotel! I had asked, if possible for a "no charge" upgrade when I originally booked our room on line, not really thinking we would get it, but.....we did! First time ever! They gave us a lake view room with a balcony. The room was very clean and fresh and the front desk staff were awesome! We will for sure book there again when we visit Mackinaw City!

Great place just needed a little tlc beach side. Ripped and old loungers on beach. There was a towel and clothing left in front of our unit the whole time we were there. So never cleaned up. Would of been nice to be able to access beach from room since on first floor. Had patio but railing had no gate. Understand may be a safety thing but couple Other rooms had no railing and open to beach. That being said yes we would stay there again

The room was fine and the staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast offerings were varied and good but the dining room was woefully understaffed with, apparently, just one worker refilling serving dishes and clearing tables. The result was very long lines and long waits. Nevertheless my wife and I would stay there should we return.
