Our accomodations were very nice, comfortable bed, pillows, etc. Balcony looking out to the lake was a nice surprise. Breakfast was very good, nice variety. Staff was good also, but didn't have our ferry tickets that were part of our package ready. Fortunatley, the front desk was able to get the maintenance man to go and get them for us.

Bats were awful.....had one outside our time door called front desk she acted as if it was a chore to get it...and the next day the bat was still there! Fro nt desk lady awful

We stayed for 4 nights and never had any problems. Our room was always clean when we got back from a day of running around. The breakfast was kept stocked and the area kept clean. Our boys enjoyed the pool area and the passes to the three waterparks. The only thing I would say is that the game room needs updating. We loved that we could walk to restaurants, mini golf, and shopping. Our rate was reasonable also. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was clean and convenient to all the attractions. The elevator location was convenient to our room, however, it would be nice to have elevator access to the breakfast room also. And the elevator would be used by cleaning personnel in the mornings, leaving guests to have to wait. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Mackinaw.

One of the best Best Westerns I've stayed in. They upgraded my room to a Jacuzzi suite which was nice but after sleeping in sub par hotel beds recently it was nice to find it was a tempurpedic. The room/bathroom was nice, clean--big flat screen and a clean remote. There was a breakfast included. Important to me-- there was no smell in the room. I hate the air fresheners they spray now in some.

I've stayed at the Best Western Dockside many times over the past several years. For my purposes, it has the best location as I'm able to walk to the ferry docks, shops & restaurants from the hotel. I always reserve a lakeside room & the view is spectacular. Hotel staff are friendly & rooms are very comfortable. I'm already looking forward to my next stay there.

We felt that the accomodations at the BW Dockside were fine but were plenty expensive for the room provided. We did some extra travelling in your area which necessitated us to stay an extra night before heading home. We stayed at the Clarion that night and were very pleased with the accomodations and price. We certainly hope to visit your area again in the very near future and next time we will try to stay at the Clarion. You have a beautiful area and we enjoy visiting it very much. The breakfast bar was not as described. There were very limited options and it was the same everyday. A "25 foot breakfast bar" implied a large variety of food options. The bar may have been 25 feet long but the food could have fit into a 4 foot area.

Everything we were looking for. Outstanding 2 room suite that was spotless and and professionally refreshed on stay over. Housekeeper Ann Marie was thorough, courteous and pleasant. Front desk was polite and professional. Nice grounds and overall appearance. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate and the staff had fresh food continuously running out to the line. Tables and floors constantly kept clean. I will return. Many Thanks to the entire staff.

I booked this hotel for an annual girl's weekend (myself and two best friends) not really knowing what to expect. The location was perfect -within walking distance to restaurants and all the shops in Mackinaw City. The room was quite large with a balcony overlooking the lake. We had a great weekend and all agreed the accommodations could not have been more perfect. Would stay here again.
