We made a stop at Mackinaw city before our stay on the Island. We loved it here at the Dockside. Quick check-in, front desk was helpful by providing discount coupons and bottled water. The included breakfast was FABULOUS! Plentiful hot and cold items like pancakes, bacon, eggs, lots of toast options, oatmeal (with toppings), juices, yogurt, cereal, etc. Definitely something for everyone to enjoy! Great location too! We walked to downtown to shop AND we walked (with our rolling luggage) to Shelpler's Ferry as well. They let you keep your car in their parking lot, which was nice because overnight parking is expensive at the Ferry ports. Would recommend, absolutely!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was standard fair but was better prepared than most. The beach was great. It was clean and well maintained, although the beach chairs were a bit worn. There even was a fire pit for beachside fires after dark. The pool was the perfect temperature. We had a lake front view room that was wonderful. We loved sleeping with the door open to hear the lake. The room itself was a bit damp and if you turned on the fan on the window unit there was a bit of a smell.

The motel was great in all ways. On site the employees were very helpful and friendly. The motel was very clean and the breakfast was plentiful and very good also. Location couldn't be better. My wife uses a wheel chair and the motel was very user friendly

BW was nice, good Breakfast.Laundry was terrible. Dried by clothes for 2 cycles and they were still wet. My husband checked the lint trap and it was packed. No air could circulate causing a fire hazard. Left word about this with the front desk

The hotel is in a great location. There was plenty of parking. The pool and hot tub were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast was great, with many choices. Only negative was the lack of hand sanitizer. There were a number of dispensers located around the property, but every one was empty.

First time staying at Best Western. We had a really nice room. Great location. We usually attend the Lilac festival and have stayed at a number of hotels in MC. One thing we notice is the breakfast time at the hotels end at 9:00 AM on the weekend. It would be nice if it would end at 10:00 AM. Thank you.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony but it was too chilly to sit out there! We enjoyed a view of the beach and the water from inside our room and saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise. The hotel has a hot tub and indoor pool but we didn't use it. Breakfast was included. Enjoyed our stay.

I was there at the very tail end of the season, and the town and hotels were relatively empty, and I got a good price, probably for that reason. I imagine it's a more costly stay ink the season, as this is a very nice hotel, with a good location.

There were two ladies at the front desk. The one we checked in with was very helpful and answered our questions. We went back after finding our room and asked a few more questions but the first lady was on the phone so we had the other lady and we felt like she did not want to help us and was short with her replies. The motel location was perfect! It was all in walking distance in the things downtown that we wanted to see. Wish we had more time in the area though.
