We had a balcony but it was too chilly to sit out there! We enjoyed a view of the beach and the water from inside our room and saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise. The one we checked in with was very helpful and answered our questions. We went back after finding our room and asked a few more questions but the first lady was on the phone so we had the other lady and we felt like she did not want to help us and was short with her replies. The motel location was perfect! It was all in walking distance in the things downtown that we wanted to see. We have stayed at this same hotel 2 years ago with our whole family of 12 people (adult children & their spouses & grandchildren) and approximately 15 years ago when our family was 5 people. We love the breakfast with all the wonderful choices of food to please everyone.My suggestion would be the mattresses in our room #219 need to be flipped or replaced. It was too soft, the firmness was worn out. I had to sleep sideways at the foot of the bed where it was firm. Our room needed a microwave but overall it was good. There was one young man at breakfast who was wonderful! The room was clean. Pool and hot tub were warm and clean. They were well chlorinated. The view by the courtyard was amazing. Breakfast was adequate. They had eggs, pancakes, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, ham, yogurt etc. The room entrances were outside. This made it hard to go to the pool or hot tub. You have to change over there in the pool area.
