I love this place. Off the beaten path, but close enough to the "action" (I'm not looking for action) Cozy, front desk staff is great! Every time I've been, its the same girl, I want to say Stacy is her name and she goes above and beyond! I had an updated room, Great shower. Only issue is screens on sliding doors, but it was cooler, so no mosquitos. Staff advised they will be working on replacing those. I've stayed here the last 3 years I do my solitude trips.

The beach view was amazing. We were able to have a fire and cook over it. You're able to see the bridge. It's beautiful at night. The room was clean and freshly remodeled. Check in was fast and the lady was polite. I would stay again. 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful beachfront accommodations, inviting updated room renovations, and warm and welcoming staff. We enjoyed our stay with our own private patio area just steps away from Lake Huron.

They are super friendly and its inexpensive with great views. We stay there every time we are visiting Mackinaw City. Love their remodeling. Still have a lot to do but better than it was. Their sliding doors need redone, chairs for outside need help, they could use a deep cleaning in the tub & toilet. Those are just a few more things that need to be done.

The manager went over and above to make sure that we had everything that we needed, including a stove in the unit that was not in their prior. The staff was very nice and the room was perfect. We will definitely be staying here from now on

Location was fantastic - being right on the water. Beds were comfortable. Check in was quick, although we had to shift to the motel next door because they did not initially assign us a room with 2 beds as requested. But that was no big issue. Would recommend staying here. Price is right too.

I just loved view from the room and privacy. The rooms are updated but not the pool. The pool can use a paint job or something. The front desk person was so sweet. Overall I would stay here again. Thank you and recommend it. The location is perfect.

The staff was friendly, room was clean. There are a few things that could be improved. 1-towel racks and exhaust fan in bathroom (rm 133), 2-more electrical outlets or lamps or radio with charging ports, and 3-something for hangers. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Sliding door was extremely hard to open and close.

Sunrise Beach was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The best part was the beach right outside the door w beautiful sunrises! If you are not picky and on a budget this is a great choice. Its very convenient being so close to the ferry and the square. Would stay again!

Staff was very friendly, easy check in and checkout, rooms were recently remodeled. Minor things though: the table in our room was ready to collapse if you bumped it and the air conditioner didnt work.

We have a small dog so we have limited choices with reasonable pet fees. Family owned, caring and personable . Room clean, view great from private patio of Mackinaw Island and Bridge. can lounge on the beach, have an evening campfire all outside your room. close to restaurants and attractions .

Nice room but shower was so hot you couldnt hardly use it and the toilet was so high my feet barely touched the floor and Im 61. But it was a beautiful view of the bridge and close to downtown.

The room was allright. The view from our room was nice. The sliding glass door window needs washing, the view then would be better. The screen door needs repairing it doesn't shut properly and has a hole in the screen. The little patio was great for watching the water and bridge. The burn pit was a nice bonus. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the whole area. We have stayed there before and we will again.
