We have been in the Mackinaw City area for several years and Personal Service and Hospitality is what we're known for. The Starlite Budget Inn is a clean, quiet Motel with Affordable Prices for all. Located a very short walking distance to Historic downtown Mackinaw City shopping and entertainment, Ferries to Mackinac Island, Restaurants, and to the Famous Mackinaw City Fudge and Ice Cream. Cons: There was no parking; we had to park on the grass, and the pull-out bed mattress was very thin, you could feel the springs. The prices are excellent and its close to the bridge which was perfect for us! The rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly! I love businesses like this, I'll stay there for the rest of my visits to Mackinaw City now. Starlite Budget InnStarlite Budget Inn Verified Hotel Customer stayed in September 2024The lobby closed at 11 pm, and I received a phone call at 10:30 pm asking about my expected arrival time (12:30 am - I want aware of the lobby closing time). Blanca at the front desk said she would try to find someone to check me in when I arrived. She called me back and told me that she would return to the lobby at 12:30 when I arrive, which she did. Other than that it was fine. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room could use some updates for the cost. Didnt n't feel comfortable about the charges added on for the extra night until front desk personnel Kieshesha explained to us very well. Did you find this helpful?|Good place in budget to stay overnight. We stayed in 2 bedroom suite in which it had two full beds in 2 rooms (1 in master room, 1 in living/common area). It had 2 TVs, shared microwave and a freeze. The bathroom was shared in the living room. No locks in either bathroom or master room.Two issues were with the Wifi and the AC. We werent getting any signal from router.
