The cabins were comfortable and clean. We had another cabin attached to our cabin. Occasionally we could hear voices from the other cabin which made our dogs want to bark to protect us. It would have been great to have a single cabin unattached so the dogs would not need to protect our environment every time the others came and went. That is why we wanted to rent the cabin instead of a hotel in the first place.The staff was helpful and kind.These comments are from a verified stay

It had two bedrooms and a bathroom. The beds are comfortable. I would bring my own pillow next time but that is personal preference. Our room did not have a coffee maker in it so bring your own if you like coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. Exactly what we were hoping for. The access to the pool and water park was great and location was awesome. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of staying in our own individual cabin instead of just a normal hotel room. Our kids loved it. The only complaints I have are 1) cleanliness was good but there were a couple places we noticed some dust and cobwebs. Nothing overly concerning but could tell it just hadn’t been deep cleaned in a while. And 2) the website didn’t offer a lot of detail about our unit. The cabin was great and exceeded expectations, but we really didn’t know what we were getting until we got there. Walking distance to the Starline Ferry. Make sure to buy the tickets from the hotel and save $7 a person! These cabins gave us free access to the indoor water slide park next door! We had full access to the laundry and other amenities. Its easy walking distance to the downtown area also! When we booked this hotel, we thought we were staying on Mackinac Island. This is actually in Mackinaw City. Heat was completely off when we first got in and we had two conditioners bottles and no shampoo. Since it was a father son trip, it was no big deal. Smoke alarm was unplugged, laying in window sill. The cabin was very tiny. The grounds were adequate, and the location was directly across from the Star Line Ferry, which we took each day to Mackinac Island. Just like many in the hotels and service industry, Cabins of Mackinaw seemed to be short staffed on housekeeping, and obtaining the items needed, additional towels, blankets, and other items was challenging at best.
