Conveniently located on Huron Street, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is within walking to all that Mackinaw City has to offer, including the Mackinaw Island ferryboats, Mackinaw Crossings, downtown shops, theaters, outdoor concerts, restaurants, and a free laser light show.

Located on Lake Huron, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is one of Mackinaw City's finest. Excellent for swimming and sunbathing, our private sandy beach features a large sundeck and beach furniture. Enjoy the cool, sparkling water and the most fantastic views of Mackinac Island, the Island ferryboats, and the many beautiful and interesting sights and sounds of the famous Straits of Mackinac.

An elegant blend of colonial and traditional themes creates a comforting, relaxing atmosphere at the Comfort Inn Lakeside. All of our guest rooms offer two queen or one king-sized bed. Many of the rooms offer private balconies overlooking the lake, and in-room whirlpools are also available. A deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning on the lakefront. Refrigerators, telephones, PC hook-up and remote control flat screen televisions are standard in all our accommodations. For our guests' enjoyment, we also have an indoor swimming pool and the largest indoor whirlpool in Mackinaw City.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was clean and the front desk people were very friendly. We did not eat the breakfast at the hotel due to the fact that they were quite busy that morning and we wanted to leave.

The place was nice. I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was pretty good. It was a while ago, so I don't remember what I thought was off, but I thought that the fruit and maybe the syrup were quite odd. On the whole though I was very pleased.

The staff and service was very good. I felt the decor or room was a little dark. I am not sure if it was just the lighting or the decorating that needed to be lightened up. We were satisfied and would stay again when traveling to your area and we would recommend the Comfort Inn Lakeside to family and friends.

We had a problem with confusing hotels! I accidentally gained entrance to a neighboring note due to confusion description of elevator location, etc. Before we left another new guest was trying to get into our hotel room instead of the neighboring hotel! Our stay was pleasant and staff members were unfailingly helpful nd kind. The breakfasts were great !

The room was very comfortable. The view of the water and the beach was fantastic! Breakfast in the morning was very good and tasteful. The amount of tables and space in the dining area was small and crowded. It was difficult to comfortably get breakfast for our children because of the lack of space. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Received extreme value for the price paid. The room was very clean/comfortable. Pool/hot tub great. The breakfast very good also. When we arrived approx. 2 hrs earlier than check in, our rooms were ready and allowed to check right in. Overall, very pleased with the whole experience. We had a great room as requested. I have trouble doing steps and our room was exactly what I needed. It was extremely clean with all the fine amenities we have come to expect with the Comfort Inns. The Breakfast was top notch, much more available then with more than adequate space for the guests Persons at the front desk, food service and maid service all seemed to have the guests uppermost in their efforts. The staff were helpful and friendly. The view specatular.. and food was good. Difficult to climb the stairs with a 4 yr old with special needs several times a day. The elevator was in the next hotel.. and you had to walk further to use it wasx the only down fall.

Comfort Inn is by far the best hotel in Mackinaw City! I have tried to stay at several other hotels and always seemed to get bumped out of the hotel I booked at and moved to a different hotel. Now I stay at Comfort Inn every year and have no problems! Very accomodating! Second to none!

My son loved the we were on the beach so he could make sand castles and play on the beach The breakfast was great because we could have what we wamted and everyone was full and ready for the day. My daughter loved the pool and also the fact that we could get passes to the water park at a different hotel. The view from our room was great and it was nice to hear the waves hit the beach. Overall very nice except coulnd not understand how Saturday night was so expensive but on the Sunday the price dropped over $100. We stayed for 4 days so it evened out bt it was the same room the whole time. Thanks for a great time.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. If this is only a 'good' rating, it is because we wanted to sleep with the windows open to enjoy the lake air; however, a very loud group of people had built a bonfire on the shore and were drinking and partying far into the night which spoilt it. You should have a noise ordinance in effect -- no noise after 10 pm. We didn't call the police because we came for a vacation not a hassle.

Really liked the view and the beach access. The continental breakfast was good, the pool was clean. Hot tub was not hot enough on 2nd day of stay. Cleaning staff left sliding glass door open. (we knew it wasn't us because screen door was closed. We never touched the screen door). I don't want anyone to get into trouble for this, maybe just a reminder to shut doors.

It was a really convenient place to stay. We walked to the Ferry, restaurants, and of course the beach was great. It was a little rocky near shore but very sandy out past your knees. Breakfast was really great to have included, and very good. The room was nice and clean, and we'd stay there again, especially when the kids are older.

Everything about our stay at this hotel was outstanding, the view, the beach, the room, the location, the breakfast, the one and only complaint I have is the front desk clerk, she was very unfriendly, never smiled, she took my money handed me my keys and sent me on my way, not a good first impression to your hotel at all, she should be fired. I most likely will come back to this hotel but I hope she won't be at the front desk when I get there.
