Excellent!

Conveniently located on Huron Street, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is within walking to all that Mackinaw City has to offer, including the Mackinaw Island ferryboats, Mackinaw Crossings, downtown shops, theaters, outdoor concerts, restaurants, and a free laser light show.

Located on Lake Huron, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is one of Mackinaw City's finest. Excellent for swimming and sunbathing, our private sandy beach features a large sundeck and beach furniture. Enjoy the cool, sparkling water and the most fantastic views of Mackinac Island, the Island ferryboats, and the many beautiful and interesting sights and sounds of the famous Straits of Mackinac.

An elegant blend of colonial and traditional themes creates a comforting, relaxing atmosphere at the Comfort Inn Lakeside. All of our guest rooms offer two queen or one king-sized bed. Many of the rooms offer private balconies overlooking the lake, and in-room whirlpools are also available. A deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning on the lakefront. Refrigerators, telephones, PC hook-up and remote control flat screen televisions are standard in all our accommodations. For our guests' enjoyment, we also have an indoor swimming pool and the largest indoor whirlpool in Mackinaw City.

We were on our honeymoon and they gave us a free upgrade to a king room with a jacuzzi and the bed was a Tempur-pedic! Very nice room!

It was very nice, beautiful view. The room was nice, people were friendly- especially the lady in the breakfast room. We had a nice vacation. The hot tub didn't feel particularly hot. Again all in all it was a good vacation.

The view was GREAT. The staff was very good and helpful. Housekeeping did a very good job. The breakfast was nice to have before heading out for the day. Pool and whirlpool were clean and well kept. The only thing that wasn't good was the ice machine on our floor did not work very well, but it was 85 degrees. We just went to another machine. We will stay here again and let our friends and family know. Thank you for helping us to have a great vacation!!

The room was clean and surprisingly Quiet for as many people that were there. I have stayed in many Hotels in Mackinaw and i would recommend this place to anybody. The veiw of Lake Huron was excellent and close to all stores and Restaurants. Boat docks to the Island are well within walking distance.

It's been a few months since we were there but I know I would stay there again, I have no complaints but didn't really stay in the room or use the facilities a great deal. Maybe the lack of room for the breakfast crowd would be about the only thing that I would try and change but the fact you could take a tray to your room if you wanted was nice.

I took my daughter and nephew up there for the weekend and we had a awesome time the weather was great. But, most of all they loved are room at lakeside commfort inn the swimming area was very clean and neat and are view from are room was awesome we sat on are balcony and would watch the different ferries come in. and are room itself was very clean and neat. And all the people that worked at the front desk was very nice and helpful. This is my second stay at lakeside and i will definatly be back next summer and i have reccomended this place to several friends and family members.

We decided since it was our 20th anniversary we would try a new hotel and picked Comfort Inn because it was by the water and had a balcony. The hotel was clean, we got there a little early and were welcomed anyway...housekeeping staff was still working hard on other rooms but everyone had a great attitude and were so friendly!! :) Our two rooms we reserved were great! Wonderful views of the lake! I loved the balconies! :) Great job, and see everyone next year for sure!!!
