Conveniently located on Huron Street, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is within walking to all that Mackinaw City has to offer, including the Mackinaw Island ferryboats, Mackinaw Crossings, downtown shops, theaters, outdoor concerts, restaurants, and a free laser light show.

Located on Lake Huron, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is one of Mackinaw City's finest. Excellent for swimming and sunbathing, our private sandy beach features a large sundeck and beach furniture. Enjoy the cool, sparkling water and the most fantastic views of Mackinac Island, the Island ferryboats, and the many beautiful and interesting sights and sounds of the famous Straits of Mackinac.

An elegant blend of colonial and traditional themes creates a comforting, relaxing atmosphere at the Comfort Inn Lakeside. All of our guest rooms offer two queen or one king-sized bed. Many of the rooms offer private balconies overlooking the lake, and in-room whirlpools are also available. A deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning on the lakefront. Refrigerators, telephones, PC hook-up and remote control flat screen televisions are standard in all our accommodations. For our guests' enjoyment, we also have an indoor swimming pool and the largest indoor whirlpool in Mackinaw City.

Reservation made over phone was easy and person was very helpful and answered all questions. We reserved 5 rooms. Desk clerk very nice and met all our requests. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would. Use again.

Was disappointed that's it's falsly advertised on the mackinaw website and all Mackinaw city flyers and the hotel website that the room included water park passes and at check in and after a 5 hour drive we were told by the hotel that it was $5 per day per person! They said this is a recent change but you should honor your advertisements..the inroom info also states it's free..never seen one thing that said there was a charge..we will not be back because of this!

My room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The location was outstanding for the price - the motel (though not my room) was right on a pleasant little beach, and in easy walking distance of downtown. The front desk staff was very friendly and informative. I had to leave very early to get in the Blissfest entry line, so I don't know what the breakfast was like.

The view was wonderful, the room clean, free breakfast. The only drawback was, whenever they watered the sand/grass outside the 1st fl balconies, the deck furniture became wet. Had to have housekeeping wipe it down. The second day it happened I didn't bother to sit outside. I would stay here again.

The hotel location is close to the star line dock. The beach side room had a beautiful view. Very easy access to the beach. It is a perfect location for observing the Friday night fireworks, they are right off the beach. There are plenty of restaurants within a short distance. The staff was pleasant and the room was clean.

The only thing was that the pool seemed to have A LOT of chlorine, our eyes burned and we had to leave and not spend much time in there. The grandkids were super sad about this. Other than that, we always love staying here.
