They had to replace a lamp and when they picked it up the dust was so thick I had thick dust on my hand when I wipe it across the night stand. My husband is tall and he said the top off the wardrobe was thick with dust so he wiped it down. The chairs on the patio where so dirty I went down and got a rag so I could wipe them down so we could sit out there. The lighting was dim which made the room feel stuffy. The suite had two refrigerators but did not have a microwave. 2nd shift staff were helpful but not necessarily welcoming. Not extremely pleased with front desk when we first arrived. When people travel and have no idea what to expect, answers are helpful. Did not get information regarding ferry and other activities in the area. After the fact found about discounts, etc. Otherwise, clean and comfortable. Quiet. No challenges in that area. The grab and go breakfast left something to be desired. One of the reasons we chose the Hamilton was because of the breakfast buffet advertised. We do understand because of the pandemic things changed. However, if that was part of the package price there could be a little more sustenance in the breakfast. A yogurt, a different fruit than an apple every day. Different choices of breakfast bars. The staff was very friendly and communitive on what to expect. The hotel was very clean and organized. I wish that they had put a footnote on their website about not being able to do their breakfast buffet due to COVID. I was pretty sure it would not be provided and understood why, but I heard others complaining.
