Room was very nice, clean and well maintained. Fitness center had some maintenance issues - broken equipment, bowflex, also a bit cramped. Pool was very nice clean and nice temperature. Breakfast was good - more fresh fruit would be a plus. Great location close to town and island transportation. Friendly staff.

My friend and I could not have enjoyed our visit more. The room was great - nice balcony and your staff was exceptional. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and exploring the town in the afternoon. Any questions we had were answered with a cheerful smile. I read some negative reviews on tripadvisor. Honestly, I don't know what people expect or want. I will be posting a positive review on that website. Again, thank you for making our trip very enjoyable.

Had to cancel initial reservation due to change in travel plans. Woman answering phone and assisting me with this was most unpleasant and unfriendly. Hesitated to call back and make another reservation because of that. Did, however, make a second reservation and had a good expereince with the staff when we spent the night there. Liked the rooms, which were clean and comfortable, and right next to the ferry service to Mac Island.

Our room was not ready upon arrival, they were able to accommodate us with a room that was cleaned, although, our key would not work. Apparently the door itself was broken, we moved once again to another room. Finally, we were in. Our stay was very nice thereafter.

I rated them this way because I had an excellent room. The bed was excellent and clean. The bathroom was well cleaned. The towels didn't have spots nor were they frayed.There was an excellent TV in the room with an excellent choice of stations to choose from. I had breakfast there and the food was excellent and the variety was excellent for making a choices.

Our room was excellent, no problems there, except for the guests who kept feeding the seagulls - the noise was enouh to drive us back into the room, with door closed! Would be a good idea if the hotel asked its guests not to feed the birds.

Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I had lots of trouble getting my room card to open the door, as did the people in the next room. Refrigerator did not work even after a maintenance person came in to fix it. Overall, it was very nice and convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean, and our room had just the nicest view, it was on the lake side. Everything was pretty nice. The only thing I didn't like, was the pool. The pool was so overly chlorinated, that my eyes were burning just sitting next to it watching the kids. When I swam, I got the expected red eyes. Our swimsuits were so soaked in chlorine, that when we got home and washed them, everything else that was in the machine with them, reeked of chlorine as well. So, good hotel! Way chlorinated pool!

We had a room on the lakeside with it's own balcony. That was worth the cost, which was very reasonable. The rooms were clean. the breakfast bar was good. The staff of the front desk were great.

VERY NICE HOTEL- GOOD ACCOMMODATIONS---VERY CLEAN. DECORATED NICELY. DISAPPOINTED IN THE BREAKFAST--WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SEEN MORE VARIETY. DISAPPOINTED IN BALCONY VIEW---CHAIRS AND DEBRIS SPOILED THE VIEW--THEY WERE EVERYWHERE IT SEEMED FLAT SCREEN LARGER TV WOULD HAVE BEEN A PLUS. OVERALL, HOWEVER, WE WERE SATISFIED. WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS. MACKINAW CITY IS A REALLY NEAT TOWN AND VERY ATTRACTIVE. WE ENJOYED OUR VISIT IMMENSELY.

Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, laundry facilities were a big plus! My only complaint was the pool area. The pool was very cloudy. The room was unbearably hot and muggy. The doors were bolted shut so you couldn't get any relief from the heat so we couldn't stay and use the pool.

There was a long wait to check and a lot of confusion with what rooms have been cleaned and were available. This was around 4:30pm, well after the 3pm check in time. Other then that my stay was very enjoyable and comfortable.

The hotel could use some additional parking space. The front desk personnel were very friendly and willing to assist with directions and other info. I understand the problem, but it would be nice if the the cleaning crew could get to the upper floors by using another way when everyone is trying to get to the 3rd floor breakfast area.

It is in an excellent location. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are very nice and clean with great views of the water. We did have some issues with our air conditioning and our room. Our room was not restocked with coffee but I did call the front desk and someone brought it up right away. Even though I did not go to the breakfast buffet, my daughter did. There needs to be changes to the food on the buffet like real eggs etc. I would stay here again even though we had these few issues. Rooms prices I felt were a little high.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The hotel is very relaxing and clean. I would recommend to friends/family that they should stay there. I would not hesitate to stay again on a future vacation. Only 2 complaints and they are minor. A lack of elevators in the hotel. Long waits for elevator service and no elevator up to the fourth floor. Also, 2 of the 3 ice machines I located were not working during our entire stay. If not for the above, I would have rated our stay as outstanding. However, as I stated earlier, I would definately stay here again.

We arrived to check in at at 4:30pm on Sunday July 17. Our room was not ready the staff because of this upgraded our room from a standard waterfront balcony room to a Deluxe Balcony Room (RM 249) Since we were staying until Friday July 22nd the upgrade was appreciated. Angelita was the person assigned to our room and took great pride into making sure our stay was pleasant. Angelita was respectful and professional we felt like honored guests. I have since referred others to the hotel because of our experence. Keep up the good work!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront. Our room was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi and the TV in the bathroom. The only suggestion I can offer is the need for the shower to have a light, as it was very dark. Again, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit. Thank you.

Good, clean, comfortable lake view suite. Overall, a very nice room that I would have rated "good" if not for some unusual design features in the bathroom such as no lighting for the shower area and only a small, broken soap dish (no space for bottles of shampoo, etc.).

Outstanding was a consideration as we did have a very good time. The pool area had a very noisy exhaust fan and the doors were locked so the screens could not function to provide some relief from the extreme humidity and heat in there. We actually used the Comfort inn fire pit and outside eating area as our hotel did not provide one. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
