I put good because we arrived later in the night and left early the next morning, so we didn't really get to enjoy our stay. We Love staying over in Mackinaw city when we travel downstate. The only thing was there wasn't alot of parking. We have full size pick up and had to squeeze in by the dumpster to park. The parking spots are really made for cars not pickups and suvs. We had to wait about ten minutes for the checkout clerk to come in, it was about 650. Not complaining but just letting you know. I would come back again!!

Service from the front desk staff was outstanding! I wish I could remember the name of the gal that checked us in, she was so helpful and kind, explaining all the coupons and discounts that were available to us while being a guest of the hotel. The pool was great, the room was fine for the price and the location was perfect! My only suggestion would be that the breakfast area could be larger. But kudo's! I think you guys are doing a great job!

I have been at youratablishment many many times in these last few years. I do like staying there, I do wish you would add in a little bit better breakfast though, like some sausage would be nice to go with the wafles and eggs... How about doing hotel eggs. The mixed frozen once that most hotels use are OK. How about Eanglish Muffins. Kids like to make Egg Mc Muffins for themselve for B-fest. Just a thought.. thanks

Room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. We didn't have enough towels, but front desk was able to give us an extra. Pool area was huge and wonderful!!! Lots of amenities!!!

The continental breakfast was mediocre only. Loved getting the package deal tickets all at check-in & having all of them together & ahead of time was wonderful! Hotel advertised microwave, iron, ironing board in rooms but that wasn't true (front desk said they didn't know why it was advertised that way & wished they wouldn't do so).However, the front desk had a microwave, iron, & ironing board all delivered to our room in less than 5 minutes of me asking about it! Appreciated & visited the 2 open indoor waterparks every day we were there! Advertising might be updated to say 2 not 3 waterparks as there are only 2 open. Would stay at this hotel again & price reasonable & liked the opportunity to include package deals a lot.

Nice place to stay if you travel with your dog. The manager on duty is always friendly and welcoming, she remembers who I am from year to year. The rooms, although not new or high end, are always clean.

To my wife and I there were no surprises. That is sometimes very nice when booking a room. You like to get what you expect & at a fair price. Super * delivered on both. The young lady at the check-in was very efficient and pleasant, even tho fairly busy. You asked about the overall hotel experience and for the price this was just what we expected. If you want all the glitz and entertainment go ahead & pay more somewhere else. If you want access to the beach, a pool, limited free breakfast, & a bed to rest, at a fair price...Super 8 will work just fine. Mark Nicol

Our family of 13 (& 1 dog) had 4 rooms for one night. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Price was reasonable and free breakfast was good. Six grandkids enjoyed the indoor pool. Great location on the beach and can walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Would stay there again.

Room and grounds were clean. Upon arrival we had no phone service in the room and only about 5 working channels on the TV. Personnel was sent to correct this problem, which took an hour or so. We had to report the problems in person, as we did not have a working phone. Phone was fixed and we gained several TV channels, but did not seem to get all channels that were listed on the guide in the room. Daily room cleaning was excellent.

We were there 3 days and 2 nights, the rooms are nice and they are clean. Another thing that was very good were the beds, all four of us commented to each other about the good night sleep we all got, I am disabled with a bad back and I sleeped well with no pain! But what made our stay outstanding was the staff at Super 8! The all the staff at this hotel that we had contact with were really fantastic, they made us feel like we where the only ones staying at the hotel! One housekeeper that took care of our room both nights,lorilee I think her name was. Well she had our room spotless and was one of the nicest people I ever met! If I still owned my business I would have offered her a job on the spot!! She worked her butt off even thou it was 95 degrees out and was still delightful to everyone.

Very nice check in, really enjoyed the room with the balcony (balcony was a little small). There were 4 of us in the room, and 2 Golden retrievers and we had a good amount of space. Not the fault of Super 8, but unfortunately the people next to us used their balcony for smoking, and the smell of smoke wafted over to our room.

I rated the Super 8 Beach front hotel at 4 stars. the holiday weekend was beautiful and we had the best spot to enjoy the fireworks from the beach. The fact that we could have a fire on the beach was amazing. I didnt provide 5 stars, because we had to listen to a family domestic dispute from their room on the beach front.

We arrived a little over an hour early & our room was ready & they allowed us to checkin which was really nice since we had drove 5 hours. they were very nice & courteous. told us what time breakfast is served & where things were located. they were very helpful. the room was nice & clean, a little small but we were there mainly to sleep. beds were comfortable. overall a nice place to stay, very good location & good price. would stay there again.

We loved the beachfront view from our room. We also appreciated the cleanliness of everything. Maid service was wonderful. One thing that would be nice is if there were more of a variety for the breakfast room. (More fruit, hot cereal, yogurt) All in all our visit was great and we thank you for making it so.
