Camp site was as described with a picnic table and fire ring. We loved the quieter atmosphere being right on the water. Only issues we had were with bugs! Such a cute camping location. the only drawback was the wind it was difficult to keep a fire going our first night. The people working there are very helpful. Though the initial setup took more time and was not ready until 10 pm still I'm okay with that. Only problem is the bathroom which is very dirty. It’s right on the water and a beautiful view of the island and bridge. The owners are awesome, the rest rooms were great, just needs to be updated ! Did you find this helpful?|Good experience- I liked it that I was able to book the camping spot immediately. I booked it on Saturday morning for Saturday night. The view was great. Office was open though we reached lately there. Things I don't like- It was quite expensive compared to other camp sites. Did you find this helpful?|Roberts Landing is a great little privately owned campground. The owners are onsite all day making sure everyone has a pleasant stay. The weather did not cooperate and it was raining off and on that evening. My kids wanted a campfire more than anything. Walt helped us start a fire and made our night. Did you find this helpful?|We stayed here over the 4th of July our stay was great the owners were very helpful and positive. We stayed in the pre set up tents (this is the first campground I've seen do this) they were all in nice shape with two tents and 4 air mattress each site also included chairs so it was super convenient since we traveled here from over 3 hrs away! Only down side to the campground was two things the fire pits were not dug into the ground so it was kind of unstable and unsecured second was the water in the showers got very hot then cold on and off the whole time. View from the beach was absolutely amazing and convince of town was only minutes away any way you went out of the grounds! The view is tremendous. The hosts provided tremendous hospitality and the rates were pretty much lower than anywhere around. As a seasoned camper, I can make do with about any campground. Campsites too close together, unstable ground, unlevel, utilities not properly marked. Dump station was a joke! I think it would make it even better if they did some upgrading of the picnic tables, and better markings of the campsites, where they begin and end, and where parking should or should not be. Got to our site very late, just wanting to sleep in our tent 1 night before moving north in the morning. Got in around 2 am, called the number on the sign next to the office. Man on the other end was rude and told us to just find a spot and come in in the morning. He and a huge unleashed dog showed up to our site in the darkness while we were setting up. Could not get dog to listen to him. A little alarming, but other than that we had a beautiful view of the Mackinac Bridge right next to the beach. Had a picnic table and fire ring. Views were beautiful. We were able to pick wherever we wanted to set up our tent.
