Wonderful, clean, friendly and courteous staff, nice rooms. Noticed some of the pool/hot tub area needs some updating or repair. Some of the concrete liner and support poles in the water park area slightly chipped

Price was good and it is also conveniently located across to one of the ferries, so just need to walk across the street to take the ferry to the island. Also, has direct access to the indoor waterpark as well.We stayed 2 nights. The only thing was maid service was not done, so have to exchange used/wet towels with hotel staff. I think more and more hotels are doing this now.Anyway it's a nice stay and we would come back next time.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The facilities were nice and clean. My only reason for giving this four stars instead of five is that our air conditioning was out in our room. I was traveling with my sister, my three year old, and my one year old. It was later in the evening and they said they had to call a maintenance person to fix the air. I asked if we could switch rooms since we hadn't unpacked and I had my kids. I was told there was no other room available. They called the maintenance person and long story short, we had to continue to follow up with the front desk to find out what was going on. After we unpacked and my kids fell asleep, they told us they could move us to an adjoining property and let us stay there. So, we had to load all our stuff up and drag my sleeping kids to the next hotel. At that point, I was pretty aggravated. It wasn't the hotels fault that the air wasn't working, or that the repair man was spotty with their communication, but if they would have been more accommodating up front, it would have saved a good bit of frustration for everyone. Having said all of that, I would stay there again. It's directly across the street from the Star Line fairy which made it so easy to get to the boat, and it was easy to walk to all of the downtown stuff.

Double beds make no sense. Now the Crown Choice is a much better hotel with queen beds and nicer rooms. Something does need to be done about Lobby for each hotel, either have one Lobby or always staff both. Also Lobby for Crown Choice and layout to get to higher floors is a bit of a cludge, not sure who designed this, but it was not good planning. Water Park is very nice. Staff is friendly and willing to help. Location for Star Line Ferry is perfect.

We stayed on Aug 2 and the 6th on our way to and from a funeral in Southern Michigan. It is a very active hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Under different circumstances, I think we would have enjoyed the property more. The beds are very comfortable and the room are clean. No breakfast in the morning is a small let down, but coffee helps.

It was a spacious room with comfy beds. the lighting was bright (I do not like hotel rooms with weak lighting) and there were chairs so that we did not have to sit on the beds. the table was wobbly.

A light continental breakfast would be nice, Coffee, fruit, croissant and a spread. Also an option to leave your car one night for a small extra fee. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was great if going to the Island.
