Bayside Hotel of Mackinac Nicole from Grand Blanc stayed in August 2014

This is our second year staying at the hotel. It is the BEST place to stay when you have little children due to the indoor waterpark. It's a great feature that will keep us coming back. The room rates make it even more appealing as a parent. We will see you again next year! :)

Bayside was great!! I went with my cousin and it was her first time in Mackinac City. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful with something we needed printed. The rooms were very clean and spacious! We had a great time and would book at Bayside again.

Room was always clean. Breakfast was good just a lot of people for the area. Seem one of the maids going threw some customers bags when walking by the rooms when the we're cleaning it. Otherwise it was a good stay

The front desk staff was very friendly and informative. The room was fine. The cleaning staff did a great job when we had them come in. The Breakfast was busy, the staff worked hard to keep it nice but I feel it was under staffed for 1 person to handle it all, spread out the buffet stations to be less congestive. Overall, the room rate was a fair price for what was received. The location was fantastic! Everything was in easy walking distance.

The hotel was only open that one weekend for pond hockey and there was no front desk service, but the staff that was working were wonderful. The bridge was closed down so there were alot of people looking for rooms and even though I had a second room reserved the staff at Comfort Inn who did the checking in said they could see I had a second room, but it wasn't confirmed so that first night we had 8 people in one room - not very comfortable. But the BaySide staff was very accomodation when we needed extra towels, etc, in the morning and just generally helpful and very nice. Everything was clean and the location was perfect.

Room & bathroom were very clean, staff friendly, but ice machine on 2nd floor didn't work. Had to go to 1st/3rd for ice (not a big deal for us, but more of an issue for other elderly guests.) Did not partake of free breakfast offered, as we have gone in the past and it was just okay. Immensely enjoy the Pancake Chef buffets.

Friendly staff, clean facility, kids had a great time in the waterpark, great location to the city and fairies. Only small thing that should be resolved is I had to go to a different floor because the ice machine was broken on my floor. Will definitely stay there again!

The rates were great, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was cold, and the pool was even colder, so we only made one visit to the waterpark area. The line to the free breakfast was too long to wait for what you get. 2 of the 3 mornings that we stayed we ended up finding breakfast elsewhere.

The staff was amazing very polite and kind. The receptionists were always willing to help and answer questions with a smile. Our room attendant was Zena she made sure and check on us frequently and treated us like friends. I've already recommended this hotel to all of my Facebook friends and family. Keep your prices low and staff efficient and you'll b one of the best hotels around. Thank you

Hotel very clean but lacked a fridge which is important to travellers. Otherwise, the staff was courteous & helpful especially your front desk clerk. Very cheerful & helpful. Breakfast was good & staff friendly. The one big thing was no fridge otherwise would have said excellent. The price was right.

It was obvious that the hotel had been winterized, and that was confirmed the next morning at check out when we were told that they had just opened for the weekend because of an over flow at neighboring hotels. Our original room had a clogged (frozen ?) drain, but we were quickly moved to another room. The breakfast was good but the hotel in general was very chilly. Would stay again for sure, but probably not in the winter months.
