Nicely furnished, comfortable room. Our three kids loved the pool. The breakfast room was unexpectedly spacious and comfortable with great food. This hotel was also reasonably priced--all in all a great value!

When the original room that I requested, wasn’t available due to the hot tub being broken, they quickly got me a new room at another hotel. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very nice. I’d go back to that same hotel.

Though the hotel had just opened the staff was courteous and helpful. The staff was VERY helpful in letting us know that Mackinac Island and 90% of the things to do on the island were closed. They called to confirm for us that all of the venues we had bought a package deal for were closed except for ferry service. It would suggest that the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce - specifically note that the early season venues are closed. We are unfamiliar with the area and seasons therefore had no idea that venues may be closed. We were disappointed we didn’t go to Mackinac Island however greatly appreciated the extra effort the staff made to see if other venues were open for us in the area and they also made suggestions for things to see and do.

Since the Best Western was closed due to renovations, our reservation was transferred to the Hamilton Inn. My ratings and comments are for the Hamilton Inn. Tim explained the process to change our stay, reassured us he will have all the proper paperwork ready when we arrive. And he did. Plus we were upgraded to a lakeside room, and our room was on the ground floor as requested, due to my husband having health problems. Great room, comfortable beds, breakfast was good. We'll be back. Thanks Tim!

Even though it was cold and rainy outside we walked to do some shopping and enjoyed our beautiful view from our balcony in our room. Loved how we were walking distance to were we wanted to go. The service was great. Only thing I wished we had were a map of the hotel of how to get to pool room and breakfast area.

Only "complaint" I would have is that I asked the desk clerk for information about the Headlands dark sky park and she knew nothing about it and suggested I look in the display of tourist places, etc. NOTHING in there but I found where I could get a tattoo!!! LOL. But seriously, it was a good stay and I really liked finding the room at the price we got on your website. Kudos.
