Our room was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The hotel grounds are clean. We had 2nd floor room with a great view. It was quiet at night good for sleeping. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Very nice , comfy bed, roomy room with refrig, clean bathroom. First time for us but we plan to stay again this fall. Did not have time for the breakfast so cannot rate it. Pricier than some other places in town.

Hotel was great. We were glad we picked this hotel. We did have one incident that was upsetting on our trip. We and our guests went across the street to the Toast A Go for dinner buffet. The waitress told us they were giving a 10% discount that night. We paid the bill and not till after they closed did we look at bill again and we were overcharged almost 10.00 because we never got the discount the waitress said would be added. First thing next day we went and seen a very rude manager who got calculator out and admitted we got overcharged but said there was nothing he could or would do for us since it was the next day now. This is definitely not how any establishment should treat a customer.

Our room faced towards the beach, and we were able to listen to the waves all night long since the door to the porch could be opened. We also enjoyed conversation on the porch with my brother and his wife, who came along for this trip. The hotel was perfect for making a trip to Mackinac Island, as it's within walking distance of the ferries. Staff of the hotel were welcoming and the complementary breakfast was a good way to start the day.

We had a wonderful time in the city. We had to change rooms because our request was not honored to be located by our friends. The room had a dehumidifier in it which I continued to empty the water from multiple times a day. The hotel was clean and a wonderful location! Staff was friendly. The hotel has great potential for meetings and large groups with their large group areas. The kids loved the pool.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was professional and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view of the lake from the balcony of our room was incredible. Breakfast was very good and the staff worked hard at keeping it stocked and full of fresh food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to stay in Mackinaw City.

I chose this property for my family, (husband, sister and her husband, and our mom) for the 4th of July because of the suite that sleeps 6 AND was LAKESIDE. It's not in the middle of the chaos but we had a beautiful view of the fireworks from our beach side room deck. Room was clean and everything in working condition. When you walk in, there's a sofabed, and a nice size bed. Then there was a small kitchenette area on the right and bathroom on the left, which separated the next area with another big bed. Off the back room is the deck over looking the beach. The breakfast was a hot buffet breakfast. Oh, and Star Line Cruise is within walking distance. My family wants to come here again next year, but bring more family, (for more rooms).

I rated this 4 stars only due to the fact, you could hear alot from the neighboring rooms( I could hear full conversations from the room next door) and activity in the hallway. Also on the website for the hotel we stayed at stated we would get water park passes, but they were not offered to us at the time of check in and when asked, they didnt seem to know what I was talking about. We did have a lakeview room and I suggest this as I felt like I was on a tropical island when looking out, but I was in my home state of beautiful Michigan.

It was a very nice, clean room. The refrigerator was small but adequate.We had to go outside and up several stairs for breakfast. that was OK with us as the weather was good and we can climb, but that should be mentioned in literature before booking this hotel. they were very busy when we checked n and therefore did not take much time with us. As a diamond select member I would have expected a little more of a greeting.
