Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The hotel location could not have been better; everything was within walking distance; i.e., ferry, restaurants, shopping. We experienced a problem with our car and the hotel staff went out of their way to find us the service we needed.

We really liked this hotel. Clean rooms. The breakfast was ok, but not great. A few basic things, but there weren't any muffins or things like that. Ver close to downtown which was nice. We also really enjoyed the waterpark.

The rooms were spacious, and clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Tho only thing that I thought should have been done better would have been if the pool and sauna would have been more centerly located. If you were in the units that over look beach and water you would have to go all the way back to the front of the hotel to use them. That met walking around on the open hall ways or go across the parking lot. In nice weather this would be a minor inconvence but in cold rainy or snowy windy weather it could be a major concern. Over all I would recommend this hotel to anyone that would be going to Mackinaw City. In fact when my wife and I plan on returning next year I will most defentllly stay at this hotel. Sincerely: Robert Peterson. P.S. the improvment that you have made with brick sidewalks,light and such was awsome. Keep up the good work your city is an asset to this state and speaks well of the citizens of your fine city.

The hotel was Great! Very accommodating to our needs and the staff was extremely friendly. The only downfall is the beds were not very comfortable, and we had to walk outside to and from the pool which made us a little chilly. Other than that, great breakfast, amazing view, and nice big screen tv. We would definitely stay here again!!

Room exceeded my expectations, upgrade was a plus, staff were polite and met our needs. Most definitely would recommend to someone else. Two things: 1) Our room had a one speed/not very hot hair dryer; and 2) Our room was on the waterfront and we had lots of problems connecting to the WiFi -- so much that we had to go up to the hotel lobby to get a consistent connection.

I've stayed there 3 times. hotel is good, but seemed to be noisier than i remember. next time i will request a top floor. i could really hear the upstairs activity. i also think it could have been a little cleaner upon our arrival. it wasn't awful or anything i even called the desk about, i just feel it could have been spit-shined a little better. but overall it is nice and in a good location. the breakfast bar is great for a "freebie" and i would stay again!

The only complaint would be that if you call the front desk for towels, it takes a long time to get them, you may even have to wait and call again several hours later, so be sure to call wayyyy before you need them!

The motel has very helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean, big, and cozy. The breakfast is wonderful. Drawback to breakfast is that getting to the 3rd floor is cumbersome. It is great to have an exercise room, but that room is not in the best condition. I would definately consider coming back to this same motel the next time I visit Mackinaw City.

Great breakfast! Waffles were a favorite for everyone! Had a double queen room on the water...room was small but clean. Other downfall was that the hotel hallways were outside. Had to walk outside to breakfast, pool, front desk, etc...Hotel is in my eyes, the BEST location to walk to town. Would stay again.

Nice, clean room. Breakfast was good. Beach chairs nice for any time of day/night. Staff smiled occassionally. Price very high. My family and I are regulars and are quite often moved to a different hotel in the winter. Would give 5 stars if the check-in staff seemed like they cared and if there were some type of price concessions for frequent visitors to Best Western Plus Dockside.
