Jaccuzi suite was freaking awesome. Much better than expected after some of the reviews. So called water park was just a splash park if you are familiar with that term. The hotel hot tub for guests was cold broke and dirty. But we did not come for the water park or hot tub (since we had in room jaccuzi), so we were pleased overall.

They meet all my needs, inexpensive and treated well. Small problem came up with the room and maintenance fixed while we were out. Loved the waterparks, and breakfast was good too. Thanks for your service I think we will be back again.

No elevator to the fourth floor room. Breakfast did not meet our expectation. However, this was due, in part, to the egg shortage. The room was clean, with a nice view and the service was very good. No complaints, it was a nice stay and worth the money.

My family and I stayed there over the 4th of July. Weekend. I have stayed at other hotels in mackinaw and have never had a complaint. I was a little worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews. Well you can't make everyone happy all the time. When checking in the front desk staff was very friendly and didn't make you wait , they stopped what they were doing to assist guests. The rooms, we had a beach front suit on the 5th floor. It was very comfortable , nice set up, very clean, and very quiet. The balcony was very nice , you couldn't see the room next to you, so very private. We watched the fireworks from the balcony. The pool areas were very clean and warm. The price of the rooms was very reasonable, you could easily pay more for this hotel. We will defiantly stay there again. Thank you.

Great stay with beautiful scenery. Loved the light houses and the Big Mac. Beautiful lakes but you like to froze our northern bones! The midges were a pain too but bearable. We will remember the Mackinaw parasailing for the rest of our lives! Great trip, THANK-YOU!

Not the newest or most lavish hotel in the area, but very clean, nice location, beautiful view, GREAT breakfast, and access to multiple water parks for the kids. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. This was our second time staying at Fairview and it will definitely not be our last.

We had a nice visit! Found out about a few nice surprises after we checked in. Huge hot tub in the "waterpark" area. Staff was very nice! Would go back again. If there was a negative..it would be the walls seem to be very thin, but the time of year we went it wasn't a major issue.

Good.they let us move to a beachfront room Monday.I hate that monster of a hot tub.Couldnt use it cause when we sat the water covered half our face.Went next door to theirs.Breakfast was nice even though we had to walk next door.Stayed there last year too.might try another one next time

The Price is good. It is convnenient. Very close to the highway and not far from the ferry either. The rooms are a little aged but they are clean. It is right on the beach so it is convenient if you wish to have a sun bath after your activities. It is facing East so you may see the sun rise from the sea level which is quite a nice view. The breakfast is shared with the motel next door and is above average. There is also a nice restaurant (Blue Water Grill & Bar) just opposite to the motel. There is a mini water park inside the facility mainly for the kids. The Pool is relatively small and there is no hot tub. Good value overall. Perfect if you wish to go to the Mackinac Island for a day trip.

It would have been better if there was an elevator. The breakfast was exactly the same every day and the advertisement overstated it. The beach area needs some work. The "water park" was also way overstated in the advertising. The room was reasonably clean. Overall a good value for the price.

The room was so clean, and the view was just wonderful. We watched the sunrise each morning. The staff was so helpful as well. My daughter had a fall on the Island and broke her leg. The gentleman in the office made arrangements to return the wheel chair to the Island medical center for us. Just all an all a great motel.

Wonderful view! Excellent price for a room for a family of 5 with lakefront balcony. Clean! Good customer service!! I loved that we could have a bonfire on the beach and just walk back to our room!!! Small negatives: no elevator and real key (not the key card). Would (and have) recommend this hotel!
