The perfect room for our stay. It was clean , comfortable , and quiet. The staff was first rate. We had a problem with our T.V. and the maintenance guys were there in no time , and worked diligently until it was fixed. We would love to come back to Mackinaw City and stay in the same hotel and the same room every time. And the breakfasts were outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding value. My girls are 8 & 6 yrs old, they enjoyed the water park passes that included using other properties in mackinaw city. Breakfast was hot and had a nice selection For both children and adults. The rooms were large and clean. I would definitely stay here again Charlie- Marq. Mi

The clerk went out of her way to make sure we were very happy. The room was great freshly painted,looked great. I wish they would of just took a little time to fine tune the room before people stayed there=the bath room floor needed the grout cleaned = the bathroom door needed cleaned=the windows needed cleaned=just little things. I would stay there again

Just before our trip in October, I received a phone call to inform me that the Fairview Beachfront Inn had to close down early due to issues. I was informed that we had been moved to Bridge Vista Beach Hotel, where we had stayed last year. When we checked in, we were informed that we had been complimentarily upgraded to a suite. We were very appriecitive of the generosity of the hotel. We love coming up to Mackinac/Mackinaw, and we will continue to come up and reserve through the Chamber of Tourism.

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was tasty and offered a wide selection. We enjoyed using our wristbands that Fairview gave us and going to the large indoor water park at Bridge Vista. We have stayed at Fairview many times and for the price, think it is a great buy and would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was actually between "Good" and "Outstanding". We had a room facing the lake, we could watch the boats going to and from the island. We traveled to Grand Marais, Whitefish Pte., Cross Village for dinner. We had a wonderful time, the cost of the 3 night stay quite reasonable, and we really appreciated the nice breakfasts offered - it saved us additional money. We will definitely stay there again.

OK overall, clean and relatively quiet room, good location. However, there was too much noise from neighboring a/c (did not run room a/c, too noisy) and having to climb up and down 3 flights of stairs, even to get ice on first floor, was annoying.

My husband & I really needed a weekend away and this trip did the trick!! We had a beachfront view with a private balcony & it was beautiful.The weather could not have been more perfect.The room was spacious & clean. We would definitely reserve a room here again.My only suggestion would be is to put new carpet on stairways,they were pretty shabby.

The room was clean, and hotel convenient to the beach. Could use some updating...bed very uncomfortable, not much rest while we were there. The walk to the neighboring hotel was fine as we had good weather. Would hate to have to do that in bad weather. All in all, a decent stay for the price.

We received an on-line discount which started us on a good note. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the view from our little balcony. The beach was much appreciated!! Originally, we were a touch frustrated that so many of our neighbors were feeding the gulls from their balconies-- which hindered our ability to enjoy them as the birds were suddenly expecting food from us, and even attempted to take our pizza-- but! Before we could even say anything, an employee placed a small, but legible sign on the beach. "Do not feed the birds." And, it did stop, whether it was the sign or the neighbors all checked out... Not sure, but we were pleased. We did not utilize the pool or the waterparks as we had plenty to do, but we saw many pleased families. Our main suggestion would be the breakfast.... we understand the difficulty of feeding so many folks, but four mornings of the same caused us to have a late breakfast elsewhere. All in all, we had a delightful time and would like to return. Thanks for being so welcoming to your visitors!!

Everything was clean. Hotel is definitely dated, but for the price, our room opened to the beach, the staff was excellent and friendly and it was convenient walking to downtown and the ferry without draining the budget! If you are looking for a place where you are really just going to be sleeping, then this is it. It is most certainly not a resort, but it was perfect for us!

I had no idea we would be on the top floor with no elevator. My back was sore so this was a chore each time. The room was nice, clean and cool. One suggestion aside from the elevator is, don't heat the pool in the summer! The pool was nice and clean but too warm. I would probably stay there again provided I was on a first floor.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairview Beachfront Inn. After booking our room online, when we arrived there was a mix-up in our room request. Although, the woman who waited on us said it could not be changed, the other attendant at the desk, a man, said that he would take care of it. We were very happy with our room, the cleanliness and the view. We did have to walk next door to another hotel for breakfast, but the food was very good and hot. We have stayed here in the past and would return.

Everything was fine. Rooms were clean and all however, the breakfast thing was a little screwy. One day they told us it was in the building on the right the next day it was the buildings on the left. It didn't matter to us but we felt like we were crashing a party at another hotel. We could'nt get any extra towels either.
