Fantastic location overlooking the water. Very clean and staff friendly. Hotel is outdated, rust in the bathroom. Walls very thin, can easily hear people next door talking. Stayed on the 2nd floor and heard every footstep of person right above my room. Pricing is reasonable and location to the island was perfect.

4 out of 5 because they did have nice rooms, good service and I loved how we were right on the beach for a decent price especially on Labor Day weekend. 1 star was taken off only because half the water park was down, and because we arrived later the kids got in about 45 minutes in the water park before they closed for the night. We checked out next day hoping they could go back after breakfast but waterpark doesn't open until noon and checkout is at 11:00 am.

The hotel was nice. Could use an update as you can see it is an older property. Traveled with my 16 year old daughter and we had a great time in the pool/lazy river. Definitely would recommend and stay in the future.

The room and bed were comfortable and clean. We brought our dog and they are very dog friendly. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony and the beach was right outside of our room. There is a fantastic enclosed pool area with slides and water features for children to play in. The hotel was pretty full the first night we stayed there but everything quieted down around 10 pm. The room was quiet. We were about a mile from downtown. It was easy to walk to with sidewalks and right across the street from the nature trail. The desk staff were friendly.

Only disappointment was no electricity on Mackinac Island on Tuesday 9/3. Therefore cut our visit short to the island, however came back to the hotel & sat on the beach (beautiful day) & played cards outside at the picnic table. Will stay again!!

Staff was very polite and knowledgeable with the questions I asked. I enjoyed being on the 2nd floor and being able to sit outside on a balcony overlooking the lake. I had stayed here years ago when the hotel had the breakfast buffet and the slides for the indoor water park were open. Definitely will stay again when in the Mackinaw area.

It was kind of a quick trip in and out arrived late and checked out early, but it was fine. We had booked ferry and fort through the chamber and our hotel forgot to give us our vouchers so we had gone across the bridge to St. Ignes only to find out when we got to the ferry later we had to come back and get the vouchers which caused us to miss the ferry we wanted and waste time

I stayed in a popular second floor corner Lake view room. The room was clean but had a slight musty smell. I opened the sliding door and let it air out for a couple of hours and the smell was mostly gone. The king mattress was clean but was a older spring design. It didn't work well for me but it may be fine for others. The staff was helpful and kind.

Room was clean and hotel staff was always friendly. We were aware the big slides in the pool area would be closed but we were disappointed some of the other pool features weren't as shown (net/lily pads gone, little kids area slide and tower not working). You could also tell the pool/lazy river needed some maintenance as the walls were extremely stained/slimy - like it needed to be drained and power-washed.

Nice clean room. Beds comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Good parking. Beach was nice but could use some clean up. Great place reasonably priced. We understood there was a shuttle provided to get to downtown that we didnt take advantage of. It is a little ways down from town but a reasonable walk. There is a water park and indoor pool that we did not take advantage of. We would recommend a stay here.

It was a nice place to stay. Defiantly a bit older and in need of some deep cleaning and minor repairs. The water park is in need of some major fixes but over all we had a great time! Loved thats e had a room right on the beach. Was super relaxing and a great time was had! Would stay here again!

We loved our stay. The staff was fantastic, especially the cleaning crew they worked hard the 4 days we were there. The view was gorgeous on the lakeside. There isn't breakfast so make sure you pack something or check out the Mackinaw bakery. Kids spent hours playing in the waterpark.

Scott and his staff at bridge vista is great. Otis runs a tight ship. Had 3 buses at the hotel. One was with high school students and we did not hear any noise. Best place in mackinaw city to stay. Great view of the bridge and island. Lights on at the grand hotel very visible. We always stay here. Treated like family.

All around the price was good and the room was clean. It does appear in places that it isn't maintained as well as it probably should be, small things like vacuuming the halls and stairs, to bigger things like cleaning all of the sand out of the pools in the Waterpark, replacing broken out windows in the Waterpark, to basic cleaning of the Waterpark, we did enjoy our stay and did also enjoy the water park. But when the rate goes up from 129 during the week to over 200 on a weekend people who pay over $200 probably expect to see clean swimming areas and more then 4 tunes for the lazy river.

It is clear that shady things are still happening with this company. Were told the hotel we originally booked at was in fact open (but no cars in the parking lot, safety issue) and had to sign a waiver that we would stay at the Bridge Vista. You have no regard for guest amenities (no waterpark, no game room, no fitness center operational) and it's honestly sad how you choose to run your businesses. Papa Zo's - we ordered pizza from them and they took our credit card info on the website then when we picked it up they said they don't take credit card info online. So who took my credit card info??? You have signs at your other hotels that say "grand opening 2017" that you can't be bothered to change.....it's a joke and you should be ashamed of yourselves. You own most of the properties in the city and you take full advantage of that and people having nowhere else to go. Please improve your guest service, it's truly sad. I want guests to want to come back to Mackinaw City because I love this city and you're not making sure that that would happen.

The hotel itself is quite lovely and we had no issues with our room really. And while it was not the hotel's fault our stay was less than stellar because of the guests who were in the room above us. Stomping and screaming it was not pleasant. The second night was not nearly as bad.
