Perfectly fine for a home base while busily exploring the area. Walkable to restaurants and the ferry to the island. Breakfast was kind of iffy but it was enough ..just not tasty.

The enclosed area was very hot with hot tub to hot, The eating area was very large which was great But there was no way to keep food hot. There were no covers to close for eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits. Had to put in Microwave to heat up. Person said there are no covers I can't believe that told front desk at checkout said she would have that checked out. Other wise room was good and clean.

The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. We needed a space for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was great to have space/beds for such a reasonable price. The balcony was very pleasant for relaxing. Two TVs was unexpected and nice for adults vs. kids. The kids, ages 7 and 10, LOVED the pool and water play area. The only downside was the mattress on the pullout sofa. Very bad. Was corrected by putting it directly on the floor.

Though our stay was only one night this hotel proved to be one of the best we have stayed in for hockey. We travel all over the state during the season and stay at many hotels. This hotel was by far the best choice for our team. Thank you for all the hospitality and knowing that hockey families can be rowdy at times and allowing the freedom for kids to be kids. THANK YOU from Cadillac Area Hockey Association.

*customer service friendly and very accommodating. *rooms very clean and beds very comfy and cozy *although person in charge of running breakfast was grouchy and unpleasant can be heard being short to anyone asking any question like if there's more eggs! The rooms were nice and clean. The sofa bed was very old and uncomfortable. The hot tub was huge and lovely. The water in the waterpark was so cold! My 4 year old wouldn’t go play in there, the older kids did. Breakfast was good.

Kids loved the water park!!! The extra large family room was great; it accommodated adults and many kids. The room was very outdated which was disappointing. However, housekeeping did a great job keeping the rooms clean. I never felt like anything was not cleaned regularly.

Friendly staff. Clean, well plenished breakfast with lots of options. Didn’t use the pool or water park so cannot comment on those. Rooms were clean, though a bit rundown. Bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Would have liked to need a scan card to enter the building for extra security-the way it is now, anyone can walk into the side doors. We had no hot water in the room to shower in the morning but a repairman was sent up within 10 min. When he deemed the problem unfixable, we were given a key to another room to shower. Centrally located so we were able to walk to all the fun shops and restaurants in about 10 minutes.

I picked this hotel because of the indoor water park and arcade. In my opinion it was designed more for young children. My grandsons are 12 and 15 and after checking it out they both declined to use them. But for younger children at the hotel they all appeared to be having fun. We did enjoy the fireworks display. That was an unexpected surprise.
